8/16 half kill. Game is playing unreasonably tight pre-flop though there are no strong players. I am the spaz at the table for once and have opened a lot.

UTG+1 limps and I have AsKs and raise. Folds to the BB who calls and we see a flop of AdQd3h.

BB checks, limper bets and I raise. BB calls and limper now 3-bets. I elect to 4-bet and BB takes two more to the face. Limper now caps, we both call and I wish I had waited until the turn. Thoughts so far?

I thought at the time that if I called the three bet I could raise a turn bet and face the BB with a double big bet. Either way I'm not terribly upset with the money going in so far. Just wondering what is optimal here. I'm not to uswd to being viewed as the table aggro captain.

Agreed OK with cap. Don’t think you are getting B.B. to fold much. Maybe a gutshot, but he could just as easily have Ax here and call you down.

I prefer this line. If BB has a FD you're not folding him out OTF and when utg1 bet/3bets oop to you as the pfr, he just never has a worse hand than yours unless it's a huge combo draw like Kd Jd...and even then it's only a slight dog.

i'm kinda surprise here, do we really want BB to call us down with his weak draw to the river or we rather would like him to fold on the turn ( by us waiting the turn to raise )?

I rather him fold in a little smaller pot (1BB) than him calling the turn and hitting the river, no ?
At least if he calls us on the turn we get are money back anyway since he call a larger raise ?

It seems standard so far - what is your plan for various turn cards?

If the turn comes a complete brick and I get led into, is it too much action to raise again?

At 8-16 in general - and the game as you describe it in particular - you've already gotten too much action. I would've gone into call down mode once I was 3-bet on the flop and I'd expect to lose, tbh.

Spoiler:
Turn is a black 6. Check, bet, I call. River is a black king. Check, check, I now bet and get called by BB with Q3 suited. The limper says he had a broadway diamond draw.

A Broadway diamond draw would be a Royal draw, no?
