I'm believing fish's raises more, bluffing less, and not raising to isolate though if I'm in a hand, a capped pre-flop family pot is my goal.

I absolutely agree with betting hands heavy, but I slow down to resistance unless it's a LAG doing the betting without many other fish hanging on. Fish action is to be respected except when they bluff the river in a big pot.

All big pots are called down if I have a piece. Small pots with mice/rocks/nits usually aren't worth fighting over, and I'm looking to fold the flop if I don't hit and don't have an A or face.

What say you?

I want to play against 8 people who decide they want to take up LHE, watch that video once and go straight to the casino.

Yes, that was worded a tad condescendingly but I think it made my point.

The question would be, how much better would I do against 8 people who decide they want to take up LHE and go straight to the casino without watching the video?

Personally, I was still a fairly significant loser even after I'd read SSHE 2 or 3 times and had dozens of forum posts. The lights didn't come on for me until early last year and there are STILL tangible holes in my game.

I know that's not at all what you looking for as far as an answer to the question, "How would you fine tune Negreanu's limit strategy for no-fold-em-hold-em?".

The straight answer would be, it would depend on the villains at the table, and the more experience you have playing, the more books you've read, and the more you've discussed poker with other people the better you'll be at adjusting your play to the table. Hope that helped.

I concur with DalTXColtsFan. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing. This video provides a little knowledge to people who might be good at NLHE or PLO.

You can't become an expert by watching a 13-minute video. On the other hand, there is relatively little in the video that I actively disagree with (e.g. I think 3-banging a CO from the BTN with pocket deuces is lighting money on fire), but the general gist of it is helpful, and can turn a very bad LHE player into a less bad one, and save them some money.

This is a big-picture video. There isn't enough to fine-tune to game conditions. The only concrete suggestion I can give for someone who has watched this video and is playing in a no-foldem game is: despite what D-Negs says, ace-high isn't going to cut the mustard in a massively multiway pot. To win, you need to make hands. Play the right cards and you will make enough hands to profit handsomely.

(But really, this video is aimed at mixed-game players. How many mixed games are no-foldem during the LHE rounds?)
