6/12 game with 1/2/3 structure

3 limpers, sb complete, i make meh raise with A8s in bb. in retrospect i dont like it, i like it more with 2 or less limpers (have initiative and win UI) or 4+limpers (just pot building for when i hit). 5 ways just seems awkward. anyway

flop 986 one of my suit. sb checks i bet or check?

are you guys raising A8o in the bb with this many limpers in 8/16, or 20/40?
less likely this many limpers in 20/40

my field still has passive players that will limp ak,aq in late after this many players already in, i think fearing they will get sucked out. should i be scared of domination on an Axx flop, and continue to lead through the river?

raising a8s is probably in the ballpark of 'neutral EV' to 'slight edge,' i'd guess. it's good for your image and a good habit to get into as you start to get more comfortable pushing small edges. remember that you don't have to cbet all flops just bc you raised pf
