Wrong..it WILL save you a BB and will also win you entire pots that you shouldn't of won.
Making the correct pre-flop plays can net you a 10BB pot, or save you 2 1/2BBs.
LMAO!!!!!! Pre Flop plays can't net you anything without being able to play adequately post flop! You can wait on Aces or kings or raise A8s in multiway pots etc... but if you're cluesless after flop...BYE BYE CHIPS!!!!! In fact that was the OP's problem...he was playing correctly preflop but gettin his hat handed to him post flop.
So you have to get pre-flop super-right, and then work on your post-flop reads to get that extra 1BB every once in awhile.
Preflop is important..yes. BUT not as important as being able to play post flop.
