Wait, you live in AZ. There are fossils to be found in the desert. I've found them, although to be fair they were trilobytes and like that rather than dinosaurs. But where there's one type of fossil there must be others, you just gotta look for them.

There are jackpots up to 40/80 around here. I played about 1000 hours last year, and over 950 of them were 25/50. I do not ball out of control.....I just ball.

The airing of grievances went a little long here.....

Mom: Do you want to watch the rest of the movie?
Me: I was gonna go to bed, but we can watch a little more.
Mom: You can sleep until 9 tomorrow.
Me: Please don't dictate when I sleep.
Mom: Why do you always yell at me?
Me: Did I yell?
Mom: Yes.
Me: You need to look up what yell means. I just asked you to please not dictate when I sleep, I'm an adult and I'm tired.

I went to bed at 11, fell asleep sometime around 12:30 and woke up at 6:45 (when the sun came up) and couldn't fall back asleep because I am a neurotic mess.

And yes, Pope, I have made life choices that allow me to sleep (and really do anything at all) basically whenever I want/am physically able to do so. It's ****ing fantastic.

Went to Starbucks this morning for the first time in quite awhile because my wife wanted that this morning and I got a giftcard from someone at work.

So I'm 3rd in line and the lady behind me asks if I am in a hurry. I give her a weird look I'm sure and sort of shrug and say not really. She then asks me if she can go in front of me. She does the same to the guy that was in front of me, and he is much more friendly about it and she starts to tell him that she is late getting somewhere and is supposed to already be there.

It was around 7:15, so I don't know if that meant at 7 or 7:15. She orders one drink which she drinks from, so she isn't getting it for someone else. So she is running late, is bold enough to inconvenience people around her because she is late, but couldn't fathom skipping waiting at Starbucks for 10 minutes for her drink. People are selfish, even on Christmas morning.
