You absolutely have to bet the turn. Naked 8s will raise and you will 3bet and print money.

Do you have any reads/stats on these guys? I typically lead flop 3 ways but could get behind a c/r with the right villains.

Bet the fop. How do you know someone else will bet for you?

Bet the turn and hope someone will call or raise with an Eight or call with a flush draw.

If you’re playing against the same people all the time who pay attention it’s okay to mix up your play on occasion but you flopped the second nuts so fire away.

The flop check could be expert as an exploit, but against unknowns I always lead here, and I’ll do it with a lot of hands.

Turn check going for the double check raise is way too much FPS. Just bet.
