Same V1 as my QQ hand.

Full kill is on, V2 is young guy as the kill has been on a streak and won 6-7 hands in a row. He is UTG +1

Fold to V1he opens, folds to me in the SB with KThh. I just call. I think this should be a 3 bet.

Folds to V2 who calls.

Flop comes Kxx with 2 hearts.

I check, V2 checks, V1 fires, I raise, V2 calls 2 cold, V1 3!, I just call, V2 calls. Easy cap?

Turn is bingo, Ah. I lead out, V2 calls, V1 calls.

River is Qh, I lead out, V2 folds, V1 calls.

Either HJ or MP don't recall if we were 7 or 8 handed.

Yeah I raise or fold this pre. You are out of position and it would be good if the kill folds. Cap flop for value

I’m assuming you have KT hearts.

Preflop calling or reraising is fine. My personal preference is calling as I’m out of position and I’m on the tighter side. Killer having won 6 hands in a row will most likely call with any two cards so it’s unlikely you wii get the pot heads-up and if you do V1 probably has a better hand. I don’t recall your description of V1. You would be further increasing your variance in a kill pot by reraising.

Capping flop seems like the best play. You may have best hand and if you don’t you have the best draw. If you don’t lead on the turn it may be checked around which would be catastrophic.

I think your assessments are right. 3bet or fold pre and cap flop.

In a kill pot we have even less incentive to play for a raise out of the sb because we only have in 1/8 of a raise in the middle. So we have even less reason to cold call out of sb.

I agree with this. I would go one step further: getting the kill to fold is great and the overlay can swing hands that might otherwise be a fold to a 3bet, particularly if the original raiser doesn’t adjust to the kill well.
