V1 is a not very good player, V2 is pretty solid postF but plays too many hands up front.

V1 opens, V2 3 bets, folds to me in SB, I look down at AKo, I cap, call call. 6 BB pot

Flop is AQTr. I bet, call call. 7.5 BB

Turn is a 7, bringing 2 of a suit.

I bet V1 calls, V2 raises

Getting 11 to 1 I have to call with the gutshot to likely nuts and call 1 river bet no matter what? Possible V2 or V1 have the straight already but lots of other hands are possible here.

13 small bets pre plus 3 on flop = 16 or 8 bb

Then there’s 4 bb already in turn and v1 is gonna call so you have to peel getting 13 to 1

You have to peel. I don’t think I show down river UI but it’s sick to fold TPTK in a pot this size.

Yeah confirming my thinking. River was a brick and I made the crying call in the big pot.

Spoiler:
V1 calls and shows JJ, V2 shows 77.

in my defense I said 'pretty' solid. He loves big pots. Told me he could call the flop but not the turn.

At 4/8 most players will peel their underpairs getting 'big odds' in a big pot. Which is what we all want.

A jack on the river would have been big fun.

I know the pot is big but that’s a really awful flop peel. I get it if the flop is like A92 or AA5 or A69 but you can’t peel an AQT flop with 77.

Not defending his play at all, just how much I see this play at 4/8. Its one of his leaks, he is an action player and loves big pots, but I have seen him make some solid PostF moves.

He tells me I play too tight. He is probably right based on some of my posts here.

Well if u would call 77 in his place and called it solid postflop move because he says so and do so , change role models cause he suck .

His rio was phenomenally high and he still called to spike a 2 outter not even hu lol
And he called flop « knowing » you were tight as well on that board …..?
Maybe he just trolling you …

Oh wow he is not my role model at all lol. I love having him at my table.

I see reg players who make terrible decisions like the above flop call(and waaaay too many cold calls) also make some occasional good moves after the flop, that is all. As opposed to the call monkeys who call me cold and call to the river hoping to hit and do often enough to make me crazy.

I think I need to be more clear in my posting.

Montrealcorp I don’t think you’re factoring in tilt equity when considering whether to chase the 1.5 outer
