Flop is A93 with one diamond

Cepheus c/r, I call

Turn is 4d

Cepheus bets, I call.

River is 9d

Cepheus check/calls

I mean, I can’t think of one hand I could have that it beats.

You know you can literally query the strategy and look at how the button plays the river based on the board and action up to that point, right? First bluff I found was 54hh (assuming no hearts on the board, I used As 9c 3d). Cepheus ends up on the river with 54hh 92.5% of the time, and when it does, it bets 100% as a bluff when checked to. It also bets T4ss 100%, which it will get there with 88% of the time. I'm sure there are others, but I don't want to scroll through all the hands.

Sorry -- I just realized I had a brain fart and T4 and 54 are both pairs. You'll need to browse through the hands and see what hands worse than QT it is betting on the river. But if it is calling with QT, there are going to be some.

any book reccs or article for someone who has played NL their whole life? I was thinking about starting with SS II but I read that harmans strat is like extremely aggro. maybe SSH by miller?

Small Stakes Holdem is fine.

I personally like Winning in Tough Holdem Games, Holdem for Advanced Players, and the Intelligent Poker Player.

biggest lea to my game it seems is when I flop 3rd pair or 2nd pair, facing a raise to what I deem a brick on turn etc, those spots I need to get more comfy with. I was playing like a nit for the longest time but wanted to open it up a lil since I was playing too tight imo

So I was browsing the bravo app and saw that commerce casino actually had more limit games going than no limit. I’ve never played in California but what’s the catch? I can’t see LHE being more popular. Is there some weird casino/state rule causing this?
