Are software like PokerTracker or Holdem manager a thing anymore? I've heard some sites you can't use these.

We are in near total lockdown. Starbucks drive-through, and only go out for absolute necessities. My mind is melting from boredom but I won't go to play live until there's a vaccine or a cure.

Imo as long as you stick to the private online games and away from the large commercial sites (Ignition, etc) - the games have been amazing and would seem like they will be for the foreseeable future. At least until we get a vaccine and the live card rooms get back to normal. Right now, live games are awful at CP - it’s like short handed with 2 Pros and a couple solid regs vs the normal full ring game full of fish. It seems like all the recs are staying away from live and playing online as of now.

The "private" games on the apps have been great (all NLHE, PLO, and OFC, from what I can tell), but in the Diamond union on PokerBros I have been noticing over the past few weeks that the NLHE games have been getting tougher than they were a month or so ago. They are still an order of magnitude softer than typical online games of equivalent buy-in, but the curve is trending downward.

How do very bad players find out about a private online game ?
CP almost always had really good 20/40 game imo. If it’s short handed now , wow that sounds awesome minus the corona .
