Not a good story really. Just some person sitting at 3 or 4 tables who only plays HU to game start vs people who need help typing in their password.

It's frustrating trying to start games but no one sits down. If they would play even 20-30 hands just so people see there is action would help but they won't.

Online is never going to be what it was. And judging by the current NVG thread about bot scamming I wouldn't play online ever again, even if limit where such a niche. Somebody might be using software so I'll avoid it.

People will 100% be using software they aren't supposed to be using, but that's no reason not to play of the games are soft.

People softplay/collude in live games all the time so if you're avoiding games that might have cheaters, you'll never play another hand of poker.

I think the lack of soft games online is probably going to be the biggest reason to avoid games online.

If I have to wait to find a good game I'm gonna go do something else. Like play Hearthstone. Or continue playing live. Or Counterstrike. Or maybe fail no-nut-November again.

I have to agree. I play so little right now because the games suck. Every couple of months I get the urge and say I am going to get back to it but then I get tired of how hard it is just to get a decent LHE game going so I statt to play a little NL, get bored and check out again.

I miss the old days.

The only time I enjoy NL is deep, and it's hard to get deeper than Howard got with my mom

He's a happy little guy. Everyday he gives me his 'take me out, take me out, take me out, plzzzzzzzzz......' look and, once it cools off here, we take him out to lunch w/ us. That's likely his favorite activity. Today he got to eat lamb gyro, a piece of meatball, french fries and some falafel.

It's a good thing that he's so active in patrolling his backyard kingdom or he'd weigh double what he does.

My mother refers to him as 'my son' to people who often stop by to pet him. Luckily all of that hair doesn't run in the family, although, TBH, I could use some up top.

Pokerstars, and other sites, really think it must be 100% legit that enormous amounts of crushing russians overflood the games ? Why not just seperate russian/ukraine IP into 1 player pool and make the games playable again for everyone else ? (until they figured out how to counter the bots from those countries at least)

Yeah some would, and some would get away with it. The more hoops the better. And more places to get tripped up and caught.

That reminds me of a hand I played last night.

I popped in to the casino to mess around before seeing Star Wars and the 8/16 game was already dead so I played 4/8 and the table had 6/12 Overs buttons going (something they basically never do AFAIK).

Anyway, I have red Kings and raise it up pre and get three callers, all of them with Overs buttons. The small blind, a horrible reckless player leads out for $4 on A54dd flop, one player folds and I make it $12. There’s a bunch of commotion as everyone else tries to figure out if we are really in Overs (including the dealer) and eventually they are convinced that we are... the player behind me folds and then the player that bet out says, “you really want 6 more dollars that bad, huh?”

I mean... you can fold?
