That 24/17 stat line of mine is 6 max. Fold more pre IMO.

24/17 6max seems awfully tight.

To be fair it sounded kind of LAGgy for FR but I ran 22/17 so I wasn't gonna cast the first stone.

I assume you guys play in much tighter games than I do with much better average players.

It is a common fallacy to think that your skill edge over opponents allows you to profit by widening your range pre flop. If there cards are better than yours, skill can only make up so much

This is incorrect.
If you're trying to say "postflop skill can only make up for so much preflop equity disadvantage", then sure, I agree.
But when their preflop range is super wide, you should widen yours as well.

If the average table VPIP is 60%, there's nothing wrong with playing 30% of your hands.
Just as there's nothing wrong with having a 15% VPIP when the table average is 30%.

Ya my friend showed up in my DB at like 40/31 and I almost had a stroke.

What you quoted was what I was trying to say. I agree with the rest of what you said but you need to be careful and these types of players limp with both strong and weak hands
02-24-2018 , 09:29 PM
It's like I admitted I was a terrible player and then you guys had conversations that immediately validated it.

It's weird that this is even a debate. Sometimes I worry that posting on this forum is going to make me a worse player.

Are you aware that the search function allows anyone to search your posts to see which threads you've posted in?

What are your FR stats if your 6m is 24/17?

Don't worry. The NCAA president said it was up to U of A to do what they wanted with Miller and Ayton.

So the coach wasn't there but Ayton got to play!!!!!!!

Eh nevermind.

New 2018 goal: don't engage in non-productive, pointless dialogue.

Just pointing out that your ranting about elitist contrarians and not posting on this forum any more is pretty funny when everyone can see you haven't posted outside of the NC/LC thread for months.

I think you're vastly overestimating how little I care about you personally.

Ironically, I had searched for your posts because I wanted to go back and remind you of some of the good advice you've gotten (vaguely remembering you posted a lot of hands recently and got a lot of really good advice). As it turns out, I think I've been mixing you up with DalTXColtsFan or DTLB.

Oh scrolling back more now I remember where I had read your blog before: when you were bragging about how you didn't pay your medical bils and then got sued but they got your address wrong and somehow walked away scot free because of that.

See? I did read your blog.

I'm trying to digest that sentence and it's hurting my head. If you're trying to say you don't care about me wouldn't you say I'm "underestimating" how little you care?

Yes, I recall your response to that blog post. You don't need to remind me that you've been a douchebag since day one. The gall of me to express my happiness in catching a huge break.

At times, it will. Or at least that's what your results will suggest. And then you have an epiphany about how to apply something and it gets better. Or maybe you just run hot again. Or you make the right adjustment but the cards don't cooperate. It can be hard to tell the difference.

Just keep trying to get better and it'll work itself out.

Yeah, you're right. Overestimating how much I care or underestimating how little I do is what I meant.

Again, in case you've forgotten, I mean this in a good way. Up until yesterday I have never linked any two of your posts together or crafted any personal response.

Condescending elitist mansplaining arcana alert: Insurance pools costs. When you dick over the insurance company, the rest of us shares your costs.

Now, let's go around in a circle and talk about our feelings. That makes me a little mad. To be a little more introspective, your good fortune makes me neutral (if that really was "day one," I definitely didn't know you, and even now it's not like I have some connection that makes me root for or against you), seeing the insurance company dicked over made me a little happy (and note at least initially, I semi-defended you), and thinking it could have gone to someone more deserving made me moderately mad (hence, my suggestion that you pay what you owe but to charity).

Your turn. Does it surprise you that not everyone was as happy as you?

You're not going to start shooting, are you?
