I know I’ve asked this before but I’m doing research now... I’m looking at MonkerSolver now and my understanding is the full version is $499? This software solves for NLHE, LHE, and PLO at that cost? That seems like a smoking deal... or am I misunderstanding?

After a few beers and some deep contemplation I have decided to retire from LHE after a decade in the game. I just bet my entire ACR roll ($560) on the Calgary Stampeders to win the Grey Cup minus 6 points. This is the Amurican football equivalent of betting on Buffalo the 3rd time they lost the Superbowl. Have fun. I mean that sincerely - I'm not particularly good at it, but there are few forms of poker where I have more fun. Play tight, value bet and enjoy it.

The 5 card aspect changes the Omaha game more than you might think. You run into more unexpected qauds, as more PP hands get play. Like I wouldn't go broke every time with top FH on a board with 88 or 77 on it -- typical O/8 hands don't make quads as often connecting with middle pairs. You really want tons of redraw outs to the nuts. I think bare A2 for low with no higher str8 draws or counterfeit protection isn't as good.
