"For a while" sends chills down my spine because it implies they might return.

O/U until they start complaining that Vegas doesn't show them love and threatening to move to the next sucker that will pony up a billion in public money?

I was still hoping the move would fall through, but they're building the stadium now, so I guess we're stuck with it.

The whole bribing rich team owners with taxpayer money is such a boondoggle. I wish they would find some way to stop it, maybe an agreement between all the major cities. Prisoner's dilemma problem though.

Could be worse. At least they're interesting. You could be getting the Browns.

OK, we'd want more than a billion to take them.

Ez game. Keep your damn Raiders.

In 20 years you may not have enough kids trying out to have the football feeder system they need. If I ran a city, I'd sell high. You're hearing some shocking people saying that they wouldn't have their kids play. I grew up in Friday Night Lights, and it will drag on for a long while. This concussion thing is them dead league walking.

Hard for me to see football becoming less popular because of injuries when other "sports" which involve two guys beating each other to a bloody pulp keep becoming more and more popular in recent years.

One of the guys I heard talking about concussions was Joe Rogan. Can't get more "hit him in the face" than Joe. I'm not saying it will be less popular, but that the massive feeder systems will break down,

And in 20 years, you think people will be more sane?

Tort lawyers need time to spin up. Evidence needs time to accumulate. People are slow to change their minds, even as evidence goes from "pretty clear" to "wtf? What were you guys thinking". It will take effectively a couple of generations.

It took how many years from cigarettes being widely referred to as "coffin nails" to smoking being widely shunned/banned? It was a good while, but not forever.

That took over 100 years. People are pretty stupid. I'm not sure there has ever been a person who has taken his first puff from a cigarette and not immediately known it was unhealthy.

I live near Patriots stadium, several kids of x-players around my son's age. Big hitting ex-Patriot let his kids play HS (and not surprisingly they are very good) but were not allowed to play tackle football prior to high school, drills only.

Should have topped off to 100 bb!

It's Ignition; no auto-top-up.

It's amazing what one session vs a maniac can do for the winrate. Thanks Alan for proving my theorem correct:

It's ok guys, I solved poker. Play with maniacs as often as possible.

I can go either way. Let's say you play a guy who you can correctly go 8 bets with the 4th nuts. Sometimes you lose a bunch of bets

Here's a riddle: How can you win a hundred dollars with a Q-high straight flush in a 2/4 game?

Spoiler:
Win an hourly high hand jackpot for $75 in a 6 way pot at the Orleans.

AB missed out on 2 bbs. That $.50 could've given a major br boost.
