If it's high-only stud, you should probably see a river card. If it's stud/8, don't bother, because the original bettor is going to 4-bet. Is there a 5-bet cap at CP? If so, that makes it even more of a no-brainer.

I showed up yesterday and was 5th on the 20 list and 2nd on the 8/16 list. Was surprised
to see the 10/20 mix going with 2 20 regs. Now I have literally never played Stud and had to inquire about the rules of Big O. I at least know the rules of omaha-8 but zero strategy. Spent the whole time asking questions about what qualifies for a low, etc.

Naturally +40 BBs in three hours before I had to leave. Fun times, A+++, would play again,

Depends on the order of your cards and other action in the hand, but I'm going to say it's more likely you sound have folded before 6th street.
High only hands are overvalued by almost everyone in Stud 8, IMO.

Probably fine if it's one bet on every street. That seems unusual though.
You also can't know for sure your high is good.

I meant if I hit my draw. Obviously didn't think I was ahead after 5th when all I had was 2 pair no low. I probably should've folded then I guess.

Thoughts on a few hands:

12:42 - don't like your river bet, literally every semi-bluff got there, so not what sure what you are trying to bluff out. You beat the non-pairs, so you're folding worse and getting better to call.

1:22 - just bet the flop for value

3:03 QQ - 3-ways, I think you should bet the flop

3:03 KJ - not sure what you're talking about, this is a solid value bet on villain's part, it's not "misguided" at all. You should be betting any pair on the turn to get value from clubs, straight draws, etc., so you never have KK/JJ or whatever else you claim you could have.
