Homemade refried beans, fried in bacon fat, are the nuts.

Telling someone what they can or can't do, based your beliefs, doesn't work. Don't go all DARE and sledgehammer a never do drugs ever policy into kids.
How many people's lives do you think would be better off if they never tried drugs? How many people's lives do you think would be better off if they added a little bit of resposible recreational drug use to their plate.

My parents and Nancy Reagan told me drugs were bad so I never took them despite having countless opportunities to do weed/coke and this is basically a product of the DARE/sledgehammer/parenting approach

And how many people's lives would be better off if they never tried gambling? Or alcohol? It's not the thing that is bad, it's people's lack of responsibility or intelligence. Quit trying to take away the toys of responsible adults to protect those are unwilling to follow rules to begin with.

Everybodys* life would be better if they had tried recreational drugs once or twice in their life.

Would the world be better off without any knowledge or access to mind/mood altering substances?

Its also the thing itself that is bad. Most drugs are very bad for you, doesn't matter if you do it responsibie or not, you can still kill your self very easily.

I also can't imagine any way my life would be better if I tried recreational drug use when considering the risks of enjoying them

River: A. I bet, he calls. I roll over the nuts and he shows A-A.

Guy on my left can't hold it in and asks the Aces-full 'don't you make one raise w/ Aces-full?'
Guy answers 'I knew better.'

W.....T.....F....?
Next time raise the flop so he can't put you on quads.

And what are the risks of smoking a joint at home while you watch a movie?

Most bad drugs exist only because you've created a false market

Re: 2017 ustakes NC, where the steaks are wafer thin (Low Content Thread)

As an alcoholic and someone who's worked 12+ years in a jail, I find it absolutely disgusting that marijuana still faces opposition to legalization, meanwhile alcohol is celebrated as a way to make every activity better.

One is literal poison that turns fine people into fighting *******s and the other is a plant that turns people into mellow hungry dudes.

Of course moderation is key in all aspects of life but if there is an opportunity to over indulge, pot is the preferred drug id rather deal with any random human have used.

It doesn't turn them in to anything, it just makes people who are already *******s less capable of hiding it

What do you mean by this exactly? Because I might agree.

I'm not a huge fan of drugs but I'm not a fan of the War on Drugs at all. The fundamental problems that lead to drug abuse are still there, it's not like you take down Pablo Escobar and suddenly nobody does cocaine any more.

Throughout that period of time [1972-1974] I used the LSD approximately ten to fifteen times," Jobs said. "I would ingest the LSD on a sugar cube or in a hard form of gelatin. I would usually take the LSD when I was by myself. I have no words to explain the effect the LSD had on me, although, I can say it was a positive life changing experience for me and I am glad I went through that experience."

Quote:
Francis Crick, the Nobel Prize-winning father of modern genetics, was under the influence of LSD when he first deduced the double-helix structure of DNA nearly 50 years ago.
The abrasive and unorthodox Crick and his brilliant American co-researcher James Watson famously celebrated their eureka moment in March 1953 by running from the now legendary Cavendish Laboratory in Cambridge to the nearby Eagle pub, where they announced over pints of bitter that they had discovered the secret of life.

Crick, who died ten days ago, aged 88, later told a fellow scientist that he often used small doses of LSD then an experimental drug used in psychotherapy to boost his powers of thought. He said it was LSD, not the Eagle's warm beer, that helped him to unravel the structure of DNA, the discovery that won him the Nobel Prize.

I mean the war on drugs. You can't artificially increase the price on something by 100x and make it only available from criminals and not expect things to get hairy. Most of the horrible drugs were created to fill the market. Going to the extreme things like heroin and meth never even have a need to be invented

I don't think you understand the chemistry or history of these things you speak of, and now I must request where you got these silly ideas from.
