Yeah, I know that that it's easy to say this from home but my first three thoughts when Blum three bet the turn would all be 'you son of a *****' directed internally at Blum, the dealer, and Gamblor, in that order. Im pretty sure I'd be pretty focused on how to get out of this hand in a way that would cause the internet to be the least mean to me. How to get Blum to put all his chips in would occur somewhere after ruling out faking a stroke.

Holy crap, has anyone considered that going all in might have been Hesp's way of faking a stroke?

And all of it is avoided if he doesn't call pre w/ an iffy hand.

Andy is Scottish.

And do you know why I'm not including a pic of Andy? I'll tell you why: It's bec Photobucket decided to disallow third party hosting unless users pay an annual fee. Try and guess what they want.

nah, these NL players check back the flop a lot with a wide range of hands.

It was a small pot, Blumstein had $90 million, and he's supposed to not bet $3 million to try to take the pot no matter what he had? Hesp should be expecting a bet and that not happening should've made him tingle.

To be fair, he did get all tingly

Howard doesn't play NL tournaments. If he does, he should stop.

Guys there is a happy medium between folding a good hand pre getting a good price in a spot the chip leader can have a super wide range and jamming the turn dead. Of course he should not fold pre. Of course he should not 4 bet shove the turn. No matter what he did he was gonna lose a good bit of chips that hand. And blumstein absolutely should check on the flop.

Every time DD posts strat it ends the conversation.

I am happy to report that I've lost 40 lbs. total and can now fit into my colorful Tommy Bahama shirts so I'm all set for display.

And I didn't say that Blumstein should've bet. I said that Hesp had every reason to believe that Blumstein would c-bet and the fact that he didn't should've been a huge red flag. As for calling pre bec 'OMG! I has an Ace-10o!' I think that there's literally zero chance that Blumstein lets himself get stacked or even lose a big chunk. Long, long way to go, small pot, what are we really giving up by giving it a pass?

I mean there wasn't really any debate. Howard was the only one who said anything different but it's howard

Harold needs to be visited upon by three aspects of Gamblor.

He could also watch some episodes of Doug Polk reviewing hands from the main event. One thing that guy doesn't like doing is folding hands in NLHE. He could rub off on our buddy here.

It always pleases me when it's me v. ROW bec it means that I'm right.

Btw, did you notice that I've lost 40 lbs?
