Also, same table: one guy is bragging about how he has way more money than us, offers $X if anyone at the table can prove they have more than $Y left in their wallets. Assuming you actually do have more than $Y, how big does X need to be, and how big - or small - does Y need to be, before you show everyone at the table the contents of your wallet?
Does this all assume there is some $Y that significantly raises your chances of getting mugged in the parking lot?

More that I just don't want people knowing that I have multiple buyins and take the game (semi)seriously. Mugging is probably a minor concern.

Also the larger X is the less likely I believe that he would actually pay out.

Since the guy is a douche I think cheating is ok. Find out if X is worth your time and if Y is some reasonable amount and if it is go around the poker room and borrow from all of your friends, get the guy's $$$$, and then pay everyone off.

And spend the profits on one hand of blackjack.

another fun hand was a S8 pot where I ended up calling on seventh with A5KT682 vs AKT62 forget his other cards.

Was irrelevant because I had a low and seven hearts. Seven hearts is good, right?

Bet river HU at 20/40 OE with 358x on a A256x board in 08 and scooped when called!

Hello BBB and others, the bitcoins have arrived into Blockchain, but as I try to link my bank account I get this message:

Account type is not included in the list
That bank account has already been added to your account

That is weirdly worded. Do they mean that my particular account type (a typical account w/ debit card) is somehow not supported, or that my account has already been verified? I ask because they already had my bank account information on hand, as I had first tried to use this option before going with Circle. On the other hand, I still get the VERIFY button for the account.

Support/Google was not helpful.

I tried to PM BBB on this, but I do not have enough posts.
06-06-2017 , 12:23 AM
yeah that's an odd double error message. they don't have any kind of live chat or phone support?

my first guess would be that you're trying to add a kind of acct that isn't supported (savings acct vs checking?)

also, you say they already have your bank acct info on hand - does that mean saved in their system correctly? because if so, you don't need to add it again

let me know if i'm misinterpreting something

(also, i didn't know blockchain bought/sold btc in exchange for ACH xfer. what are their fees like?)

Depends if I'm playing at the Oaks or Bay 101.

I already do this every session (lately)!

Jump in yer car and get up here. My rental turdlet made it fine, except it wheezed a bit on the 75 mph hills around Kingman. 5000 rpm most of the way, lol.

Orleans had 4 tables of 8/16 O8 tonight.

If it were at the Oaks when I played 30/60 I would have taken a pink chip out of my pocket and slammed it on the table.

I don't even know what color the 1ks are at M8trix.

Welp, GL! I hope those games are going if I ever take mom up there again.
06-06-2017 , 12:09 PM
I've never been at the Orleans without two+ 8/16 O8 running, is that not normal?
06-06-2017 , 01:44 PM
It is NOT normal to have 4 8/16 O8's going, which is why I tried to coerce Howard with it.

I did not make it up, tho. Really, 4 games.

Pretty interesting in how many people were talking about playing the Dealer's Choice bracelet event. 19 games (!) to choose from although I've heard that mostly just 4 games get played, lol. Seems like you would do well to learn the obscure ones.

But I remember some uLimit peoples in here notwithstanding the fact I'm an unlimited donk rather than the limited variety. Hi Doc and DougL and Bellatrx and Babar. But where is Bona?

Where you U.S. LHE guys play these days? Ignition? ACR? BoL? Let us start up a small .05/.10 LHE table somewhere for funs like in old days.
SupMike and all you other microfiches as well. I am getting anxious to play poker a little does anyone know where Doc plays other than that place that doesn't use screen names.

He's Player 4, I hear.

Good to see you Bona. Vegas this weekend. Hear Southwest is having a sale.

I was helped immensely by BBB with my (above) business and he was as quick and trustworthy as anybody could possibly ask for. Just wanted to add my name to the list of people vouching for him

We are looking at relocating to the Southwest. Possibly/probably in Bullhead City. How is the play and the rake in the live "cheap" poker rooms there do you know? We expect to take a run out there in about a month.

Is your LV trip this weekend part of the annual World Series celebration?

I think the answer's obvious. Take the amount in your pocket (and maybe any expected hospitalization costs), multiply it by the probability of the mugging, and compare that figure to the amount of money you stand to win if you win the guy's challenge. If the money you stand to win is higher, you are +EV.

Bona:

Good to see you again.

Laughlin has very little poker-- mostly small stakes spread limit and no limit. The rake's probably going to be around $4 a hand. Before I played poker, I used to love going there though. Kind of a low rent Vegas on the Colorado River.

What's a pink chip worth?

At M8trix, $500 are aqua, and $1000 are purple. Which is hella stupid, because purples are $500 in most LA and bay area cardrooms.
