Along those lines, I've played a couple of sessions with a blowhard LAG who seems to always circle back to how rich he is. Always wonder about people's motivation to air that out in public
One I've been saving in the chamber for the next time someone accuses me of being a donk:

"See this (pointing to stack)? I could lose this every day for 15 years and still have more money than you."

Iirc, that was in reference to the Pats/Steelers game. He's got Atl +3 and the under for tomorrow.

Regarding prop bets: he said take Lady Gaga's hair being blonde "at almost any price."

This text just in: "Every fiber of my being says the Patriots are going to win this game. But I have no math to back it up. I am substantially traumatized when it comes to these dick heads."

You should empty the chamber before firing.

If you look at the time I posted, it was before the game. I was saying "mission accomplished" to unloading the clip.

Pretty sure his under bet is toast.

NP. I am not much on gambling superstitions, so it is fairly likely that I'd cross some line. Or just mess with jesse8888.

It's settled; if I ever have a son, his name is Brady.

Nah. And Gorsuch is actually a pretty good choice, especially if you ignore that he thinks employers should get to pick what medical procedures are covered (insurance-wise) based on their personal medieval beliefs.

Greatest SB ever with worst possible outcome. With 3ish minutes ago, Mitchell's hold and Ryan taking that sack was the nut low.

As someone who thinks of myself as an advantage gambler and who tries to work hard for good outcomes, hoping process >> luck, it is really hard to root for the best team to lose. JoeTall was talking at the beginning of the season about how "they're going to be super motivate and punish the league". I laughed at him and wondered how much of the result would be due to them actually being the best team in the league vs. BS notions of motivation. Clearly, the Pats were the best team over the season. I'm not really a Pat's fan, because you're basically some jerk front-runner liking the Yankees in the 90's to root for the current dynasty. If you don't live in New England, you're supposed to be against them. However, you have to respect how good they've been for so long.

If I had been watching, would have turned it off long before the part that mattered happened.

I missed both Edelman's catch and the tying 2-point conversion because my kids noticed the "flying" camera on the screen and ran up to the TV to point it out to me.

GET AWAY FROM THE TV!!!

Brady's kindergarten teacher: "What comes after 9?"

Brady: "Ten!"

Teacher: "What comes after ten?"

Brady: "Jack!"
