7-handed. Utg limps, i raise Q9 in CO, BB and utg call

3-way flop, 7.5 SB: K86
I cbet, BB xr, utg folds, I call.

BB is a loose passive reg. I think he sees me as either a good player or not a fish.

HU turn, 5.5 BB: 2
BB x.

1. Bet or take the free card?

I decide to bet and BB calls

HU river, 7.5 BB: Q
BB x.

2. Check back or bet?

I would check the turn. This feels like a defensive check on BB part. Maybe he has an 8 or a weak K and just wanted to get HU, but now fears getting raised on the turn. Maybe he has a draw. Maybe he's going for the screw play. I don't think you can barrell him off a hand you beat and I don't think going for value against the draw part of his range is worth it.

As played, I don't hate a bet and I don't hate a check. I'd lean towards a check with your passive read.

In the games I'm used to check raise flop, check turn (intending to x/r) line is almost always a very weak or very strong hand. You're beating (or have good equity) against one and crushed by the other. I'd check turn. As played, once he check calls the turn I rule out strong hands. I think the river is an easy bet/fold. Sometimes you get owned by a crappy king but thems the breaks.

I change my answer to a river bet. I think there is definate value to be had.
