good to hear that FT is stable. i had random crashes all the time whe i last tried it. stars freezes when you minimize a table (and when you resize table to a very small size, too). they are aware of this and i hope they fix this soon. just don't minimize ;-)

when i find the time to look into FullTilt, is it ok to PM you? i could use some help when testing and having a bunch of hand histories would be very nice. but as said, it may take some time. priority for me right now is to support more game types on stars before ading support for more sites.

or maybe there is a python programmer around who feels like taking over the task ..anyone for FT support?

Full Tilt just needed an update tonight, hopefully it's still stable :>

Yea, definitely PM me when you look at Full Tilt. I'm happy to help with testing. Right now the lack of Linux/Wine hot keys for FullTilt is the only thing keeping me using a Windows VM.

this is an amazing program, the absolute only thing keeping me with windows was tableninja/ahk and now you've solved that problem. Stars + FPDB + tablecrab and my ubuntu poker dream is finally real. Thanks so much. bye bye windows.

i can feel your pain :-) having to mess around with windows is not the slightest bit of fun at all. actually my motivation to write TableCrab was exactly the one you mention: bye bye windows, hello ubuntu. now if only the sites would follow suit..

yes I'm afraid that we'll always have to deal with WINE but I am so so happy to not be dual-booting or virtualizing windows anymore... thanks again, your program does what I want, the only suggestion I have is to steal the table ninja feature where it automatically clicks the time bank. All the best.

took a look at auto click timebank. does not look to good. keep in mind that TC is intended to work with any table theme in any layout. so i am a bit limited in the amount of black magic i can apply.

1) there is no easy way to find out when and where the button is shown
2) if i go to greater lenght to find out the feature would only apply to tiled tables
3) imho stars is doing a good thing in making the button hard to reliably automate. if nothing else, i take any bet that making it harder is actually +EV.

for all the pythoneers out there i added a script to TableCrab to encrypt/decrypt PokerStars ini files. if anyone is interested i will add this as tool to TableCrab as soon as i find the time.

get the script from here: [https://tablecrab.googlecode.com/svn...niDecrypter.py]

and as a message to PokerStars: i hate unnecessary coding. stop the nonsense.

TableCrab2-0.7.4 released

- new tool: PokerStars ini encrypter / decrypter

NOTES:

- the new tool may break at any time (stars changing the encryption key for example)
- it may or may not be compatible with other ini decrypters. encrypting ini files decrypted with other decrypters does definitely not work!

Cool tool. Thanks for sharing!

Could you share your algorithm for decrypting/encrypting gx.ini. I would like to roll my own in Python. Thanks!

ty. download the "source-distribution" and unpack. you will find the code in in "src/Tc2Lib/PokerStarsIniDecrypter.py". no idea if stars has made any changes to its encryption ..but last time i tried it worked.

ok, this looks messed up. chances are you selected this font by accident.

1. go to the 5th tab from the left
2. make shure the top item is selected in the left box
3. on the right side, the third button from the top is the font selector
4. hit it and select a different font

a note on latest stars update adding table hotkeys to the client:

i may be wrong, but these hotkeys do not seem to work on linux/wine. my best guess is because stars decided to add "send hotkeys to table under mouse". to do so they have to register hotkeys system wide and this functionality is not supported by wine.

oops, did not see the tiny little checkbox that reads "Enable Hotkeys". so ..no idea what stars having hotkeys means for TableCrab. i'd happily remove all support for hotkeys from TableCrab, but obv stars is missing one or the other important one.

TableCrab2-0.7.6 released

fixes:
- first hand was not displayed when loading a hand history file
- setting MaxPlayerName did not work in hand viewer
- in flopster % straight draws was incorrect for suited hands

news:
- close popup news" now closes "My news" as well
- hand viewer shows player hole cards now when a player "folds and shows"

[1] too lazy to get upx compressor to work that's why the download is ~15 megs instead of ~10

are you able to make the beta built-in hotkeys work under WINE? I have set them up and it highlights the table, but the hotkeys themselves don't see to do anything?

I don't know where else to post for linux stars support so I figured I would ask here.

Oh and I d/led the latest, nice work as always. Running great in my ubuntu 11.10. Thanks again.
