I'm getting the following error box when I tried to upgrade from 4.6 to 5.4. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I also downloaded the Microsoft .Net Framework 4 referenced on the site.

Someone else had that error with slimdx. It shouldn't be a problem just ignore it.

I accidentally deleted it off the page.

I did a system restore before I saw your message, but I still can't start tabletamer. I'm back at 4.6, and it just says "there was an error. Please send your log file to support." I tried deleting the sytem, settings, and license files, but no luck.

Tried upgrading to 5.4 and still get same slimDX error. Then when I start it says: "Table Tamer needs to be an aero theme to function correctly". I close that box, but the program is not running.

I changed it so that you need an aero theme because I ran into some issues without it. Right click your desktop and then click personalize. Then, you can choose an aero theme.

thanks. It appears to be back running and I'm upgraded to 5.4. Looks like I will need to go through setup again. Not quite sure how I lost my setup when I went back in time with system restore, but happy at least I'm back on track again.

And for other dummies like me that are using Windows Vista, you have to go to "Windows Color and Appearance" after right clicking desktop and "personalize" to then change to the aero theme.

I still can't get table tamer to open. I followed the troubleshooting guide and didn't see any of the three files License.key, Settings.xml, or SiteConfig.xml in the table tamer folder. I did find both the Microsoft. NET files. I am also using the latest version of table tamer. Please let me know how I can fix this. Thanks.

You must look in: C:\Users\<your windows user name>\AppData\Local\Table Tamer

I get the "Error! Deadlock avoided" popup or whatever it is and eventually it starts showing the error more and more it. Eventually tamer just stopped handling my table activation

That same error had been popping up a lot for me also

I got Table Tamer running again after your most recent update but now I am running into an issue with editing the tiling layout. When I go into the grid layout and generate some slots and then try to hide slots or clear them I keep getting the error message "Cannot set Visibility to Visible or call Show, ShowDialog, Close, or WindowInteropHelper.EnsureHandle while a Window is closing" then Table Tamer freezes and has to be closed.

I restarted Table Tamer and I am no longer getting this error.

The deadlock avoided is when table tamer avoids a crash. Table Tamer produces a log file, but when you restart the log file is deleted. Send me the log file next time this happens. Also, what tiling modes were you guys using and how many tables?

With updating from 5.5 -> 5.7 I didn't seem to get the error so much and it kept working for much longer. This session it worked for many hours (the errors seemed more and more numerous as time went on fwiw), but then again a big hold up. Suddenly it is stuck on one table, no matter whether I click another table in taskbar or try to use hotkeys for movement that table would just keep forcing itself up. I am in stacking mode and playing roughly 16-18 tables, I noticed the error was MUCH more numerous with more tables up vs when I had 6-8 going.

I also forgot to mention when I experienced the issue with 5.5 the TableTamer icon disappeared from my tray and I had to open task manager to close it =p

edit: one more thing lol! The error eventually changed and said something about table not being able to be downgraded or something along those lines!

ah yes one more thing my 4 stacks overlap slightly and a fair bit of the errors seemed to be produced when I would move my mouse over different stacks, seemed like sometimes it would briefly let the stack I was last on take focus for a split second then go back to activating table that is under mouse

Played a short session and still had some issues. Kept activate table under mouse on, but just kept all of my tables in one stack vs my overlapping stacks we discussed. On random occasion a table (random table, changed each time iirc) would keep stealing focus back like I mentioned earlier. This behavior disappears quickly for the most part, but I did end up having to restart tamer because it just wouldn't let go of a table at one point. Also saw this error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object." many times. Have another log file if you'd like

Also random bug encountered, I wanted to send all of my tables over to a different stack and spammed my send to slot2 key. It lagged briefly (very fast comp mind you) then they all moved over except one table which became huge at 1st then began randomly moving itself around

found this program last night and so far i'm not sure how to get it to do what i want. can someone help me out?

I play on bovada and this is what i want it to do

1. dont need the program to stack or move tables around since bovada only has a 4 table max anyway. But i do want tables to automatically go to an assigned spot and stay there on a grid so i dont always have to drag them around @ the start of a session or when joining a new table.

2. I wana use the "back" button on my mouse to fold

3. I'm using the scroll wheel to adjust betsize but I tried the predefined preflop sizes where its suppose to raise 3bb + 1 for limper, but the bet box constantly changes from 8 to 288 or something whacky back and forth. so i cant actually use it.

Betting on bovada is not working how it should yet. It defaults to the raised pot percentage I believe. You can setup hotkeys for percentage of pot and fixed amount of bb like 2.5 for now.

I think I fixed some of this behavior, but I need to run more tests. I might have a new version out later, or you can hit me up on skype to test it out.

Also, one thing I am not clear on is about table tamer stealing focus. Have you tried folding on that table that is stealing focus, even if there isn't a fold button there? Maybe table tamer thinks the table still needs action and folding would tell it to move to the next urgent table.

I enable the error message again, but I added a setting called failure delay. I think the default should be ok, but if you get an error about a timeout, try increasing the value and let me know what worked for you and what tiling mode you were using. It is in milliseconds so 5000 is 5 seconds.

For some reason, Yatahay is not working after upgrading from 5.4 to 5.9. I tried removing and re-adding the skin. The tables are not snapping into their preset tile slots. However, Intertops is still working just fine.

It also appears that other functions for Yatahay are working. Just can't get the tables to go to their correct layout upon opening.
