hurrah!

all hail pokecancer

new version is working very well so far! (referring to 4.5 that is)

Glad to hear that man! 4.5 has some problems though(with hotkeys at least), so I really recommend upgrading.

Is there a problem with ModYatahay, or now with the new 4.7 version, if the install folder isn't default? I installed BCP to a folder in program files rather than the default install, and while the main image graphics are being changed (with the 4.7 version), BCP still updates upon start and replaced those images. So I must manually hit close a the update window.

Edit - Just realized you are handling that window with the popup controls under skin settings, and at this time the Window Title is "AmericasCardroom", so being as I play on BCP, it's possible that it isn't recognizing the popup window and closing it as it's supposed to.

I am going to remove modyatahay soon. So we'll just focus on Table Tamer for now. Using a different folder shouldn't be a concern. Did you add the skin again for this version and enable the prevent update popup? Also, make sure you click the start button in TT before you open your poker client. I also forgot a step in the tutorial. You should run the poker client as admin. If none of that helps, let me know and I will look into it.

Yeah I did everything according to the documentation. I just did a bit of testing, and each time the graphics would be replaced correctly when I added the folder, but then replaced when I opened up the client (with TT running). So I went into skin settings, and changed the "Prevent Updates" Window Title to "BlackChipPoker", and it worked fine. Properly shutting down the update popup, and the new image files remained in place.

Here's a thought regarding the client at WPN. The client minimizes every time a new table is opened, and the client maximizes (if minimized) every time a table is closed. Would it be possible to have it so that when opening new tables the client stays maximized until you manually minimize it? And that when closing tables, the client stays minimized?

It's not a huge issue, but a bit of a pain that I have to keep maxing the client to open more tables, and minimizing it everytime I close a table. Just a thought, not sure if it would be WPN specific, or if there are other networks that have the same issue.

Oh. That makes sense. I will have to try it on BCP later. They prob have a different window title. I was just testing with ACR.

I will see if there is anything I can do about this.

I ran into a bit of a problem when testing at a 25NL HU table. I only got to test it a few times because the individual left, and haven't been able to get anyone else to sit HU to try it again yet.

Here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/foAfS2M.jpg

Basically, anytime villain raised to $0.75 (3x) and I was in the BB, that error message would popup. I'm assuming it's because '$1' is being misread by the OCR as 'SI'. Didn't seem to have this problem anywhere else. But it also might arise in a 6m/FR BvB situation where SB opens for 3x, and we are in the BB (just guessing).

For reference sake, I have made no changes to the default OCR settings in Skins > Advanced. OCR is still enabled there, Scaling Type "BL", Scale "3", Remove Character Count "4", Sharpen is unchecked.

You're right about it being misread. I will make it convert the S to a $. The OCR isn't 100% and there can be issues like this with reading the pot. What table width were you using? Also, try going to the windows start menu and then type cleartype. Turn it off if it is enabled. Let me know if that makes a difference for you.

My tables width was 883.

I'll give turning off cleartype a go.

I've been using an AHK script to move my tables to different slots with a hotkey for years. The way it works is I've setup 4 slots, and with the same hotkey click (XButton1), the table under the mouse is moved. If it was in the main stack it is moved to an empty slot in order (slot 1, 2, or 3). If all those slots are filled it will move to the slot with the least number of tables, and so on. And if you use the hotkey while hovering over a table in one of those slots, it will be placed back into the main stack.

And I love the layout. It allows me to move tables I'd like to pay more attention to from the main slot, whether it's because I've VPIP'd on that table, or notice a large fish I'd like to pay more attention to, or whatever. Also allows me the freedom to keep the table out of the main stack while I do tasks such as review that tables hand history, or take notes, etc.

Is the above possible with a layout in TableTamer? I haven't been able to figure it out yet. I've made a layout, and enjoy the VPIP tiling mode. But feel like it would make taking notes, or reviewing hand histories on a table, difficult since it is automatically placed back into the main stack when you fold.

I've also tried making two hotkeys (Xbutton1 and Xbutton2), with one moving a table into an empty slot, and the other moving the table back to slot 0. And that seems to work; however, if I sit tiling mode to Disabled so I have complete control over when I move the tables, it seems like settings features "move to stack/grid/slot" for new windows don't work.

Just not sure how to setup TTamer to get the same functionality as I've grown accustom to with this AHK script (which I have to use alongside Placemint).

You can do something similar with TT. Use stacking mode and setup a hotkey using the command MoveToSlot. Click slot 1, 2, and 3. That should accomplish setting up the first hotkey. Then, set up a hotkey with MoveToSlot and click slot 0 for sending it back to stack. You can set hotkeys to use table under mouse in your hotkeys profile.

Can this be done with a single hotkey? Or would I need different hotkeys for each slot? Currently when I try to create a hotkey for move to slot, it seems I can only choose 1 slot (0-3) to set it to (only allowed to check one checkbox at a time).

Yeah, that was an error on my part. Try again with the new version.

Table Tamer Alpha 0.4.8

Changes:

Fixed focus betbox and clear for revolution
Added chat mode hotkey. During chat mode, no hotkeys work on the table. Enter or the same hotkey will toggle chat mode.
Added 'Both' mode for betting. It will use predefined bets, but when you use the numpad, the betbox will be cleared and focused to enter the bet.
Added automatic betting for bovada. It will only use the raised pot percentage for now though. Remove the skin and add again.

Nice.

Great work on the software. It is really coming along nicely and you do a great job of listening to your supporters feedback. The only thing I wish you had was a little more documentation on the slots and how to set up the tiling layout. Setting up the slots and filters for slot groups is confusing me a bit, but besides that keep up the great work.

I am trying to set up table tamer to play on bovada and WPN. I turned on the setting "move mouse to" the fold button. If more than one table needs the players action then the mouse keeps jumping back and forth between tables and it makes nearly impossible to do anything.
03-05-2013 , 07:07 PM
I've also noticed that when I try to to play on both of those sites the table that needs the players action doesn't pop up a lot and I get timed out. I have turned off auto switch tables on both sites and turned on table tamer handling table activation. Not sure if I have the wrong settings on or what

Thanks. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to ask.

Sounds like it should be simple to fix. I'll take a look later.

This is a known issue with having a different site in the same stack as a Bovada table. Bovada tables can fail to pop up. Since you mentioned filters, I assume you are using filter mode. Just set up some slots that are Bovada only for now.

I couldn't reproduce this problem. Can you tell me more about your tiling layout and what tiling mode you use? Are you using the latest version?

After a few tries getting table tamer to work correctly I almost have it running like I want it to on WPN. It was mostly my own computer illiteracy that was the issue. I did have a few issues though. My autotimebank wasnt workin and I did have it checked off. The borders for the tables are too similar in my opinion and would love if they were customizable in both thickness and color. I setup my grid to be 2 tall n 3 across and would like to stack each alot 4 deep for a total of 24 tables. For some reason no tables were hoing into the 1st slot in the 1st column which would b tables 0,6,12, and 18. Also after table 6 was open each additional table wouldnt go to its assigned slot unless I clicked generate from the tile layout screen. I was having an issue of my tables jumping all over the place to different slots when it was in VPIP mode in tiling mode. I switched it to stacking and this problem stopped. I do think this program will be a huge asset once I completely understand its features and become more used to it. Thanks for creating this program and if you have any answers to my issues I'd appreciate anything provided.
