Hi Guys, when I set up ITM% for 36.79 SwongSwim show me that my Expected ROI should be 4.8% but my pt4 spinEVroi is 3.98% which I believe is correct as my chipEV/game is 47.27 . I counted manually (link below) and yes, pt4 results are correct one.

Thanks for the question. The SwongSim number is the correct one.

The first issue is a small error in your ITM% calculation. It should be 36.48467% ((47.27 + 500) / 1500). With this corrected ITM% (1st-place finish rate), SwongSim calculates the expected ROI to be 3.934% (which it rounds to 3.9%).

This is slightly lower than PT4 because the PT4 stat does not account for the top 3 tiers paying 3 places and SwongSim does. This can be verified by changing the top 3 tiers in SwongSim to be winner-take-all, in which case you will get the same result as the PT4 stat.

Thanks for your quick answer. Indeed, the problem with ITM% was coming form my side, but not because of wrong calculation. I just copy ITM% from pt4 but I forgot that it is based on real chips won and not ev chips won. shame on me!

Hey RonaldoVamos - I'll see what I can come up with. I'm thinking a popup for entering total EV chips won or EV chips per game and that would be used to determine 1st-place finish %. The only issue is that it doesn't generalize to other formats which are included as presets (for example 6max with 65/35 payouts).

Thanks for this option , but as of now, it adjusts only the first place %, which throws the total finish % off balance (1st + 2nd + 3rd stops being 100%) and results in a lot of red colour. It's a minor issue because it essentially affects only rare top jackpots and doesn't alter the sims too much, but adjustment of the 2nd and 3rd place % would be great (if the 1st place freq is increased by x%, then decrease both the 2nd and 3rd place freq-s by (x/2)% or proportionally so that their total change is -x%.)

You could also make an option of filling the 2nd and 3rd place fields automatically, i.e. if the 1st place % is filled (x%), make the 2nd and 3rd place ones both equal to [(100-x)/2]%.
