it doesn't work since the new stars upgrade (10/11/07). it's an awesome program though, thanks for making it and maintaining it!

yes, it seems to be aiming at the wrong spot for the new update and is rendered useless. i tried changing some variables and just can't crack it. can anyone figure it out?

Anyway we can get in touch with the creator of the script and have him modify it to work with the new Stars update?

Does anyone know if there is going to be a program like "Ultimate Buddy" for pokerstars?

I got it to work again:

Get functions_v217.ahk from http://www.overcards.com/wiki/moin.cgi/RolandsFunctions, rename it to functions.ahk, and move it to the right folder.

Make sure to backup the old functions.ahk.

Do you need a Pokertracker d/b for the script to tell you which table the players are on?

Great Program. I have it up and running and am enjoying it.

Question: Would it be possible to auto-open the tables my buddies are on? Could this be done with a simple tweak of the code? If you can't shoe me exactly where, maybe you could give me a little direction?

Thanks again, great program

I have upgraded my ahk to the latest version 1.0.47.04, and i'm using version 3 of roland's functions.

For anyone wondering how to make buddy lists without typing all the names in manually, here's how I do it.

1. Open pokertracker, go to preferences.
2. Set filters to > 100 hands played and VPIP > 50.
3. Go to summary, it should have all players with > 50vpip and > 100 hands listed.
4. Click the print button (it's a small button with a purpleish "p" on it.
5. Once the print window is up hit the export button.
6. Under file type select "Excel".
7. Choose a filename and export all the data to an excel file.
8. Open the excel file in MS excel and select the entire column with all of the names in it (click the first name and drag all the way down the column), copy them (ctrl+c), and paste them in a new text document (ctrl+v).

It sounds like it might take a little while, but it really only takes a few seconds and is much easier than typing each name on an individual line. I keep a .txt buddy list for each limit I play. For example I have a 100nl buddylist, 200nl, etc. that I update every couple of weeks or so. For whatever limits I'm going to play, I just load up the buddy list in the Stars Buddy List ahk script.

Is it possible to change the name of the buddles file to something else? Every time I try it seems to default to buddies.txt

I usually just type it in manually, 100nl.txt or 200nl.txt. You could just keep it buddies.txt and not ever have to type anything, I just like to have mine separated.

Ah that worked ty

Looks like I can't edit the buddies list if it's named something else as the program seems to always look for buddies.txt, ah well not a major problem I suppose

I have an OT question... some of the old threads didn't come with the update... I am new to online poker in general and was told to get an AHK for pokerstars. I am looking for something that bets pot, closes the little pop up buttons and all the other usual stuff like close lobby, cascade or anything else. Any directions would be amazing as I don't know much about computer at all. PLEASE help. THank you kindly
