Hello,

StackSolution is a dynamic table management program that tiles and stacks table automatically into pre-defined grid slots based on action that took place. On the time of writing this post it is currently in early beta stages and contains only core functionality and supports only PokerStars for now, but will be rapidly developed and there 20+ new functionalities to be added in a time, one of them is multi website support of course.

Requirements:
ASP.NET 4.0

StackSolution Requires .Net Framework 4.0
If you don't already have it installed you can get it here:

Not sure if you have it?
a) Check Programs & Features (Add/Remove Programs in Windows XP) on control panel.
b) Just run .Net installer. It checks what is required before downloading.



Installation instruction:
1. Just download and unzip.
2. It is now ready to be used, make sure you run it as an administrator.


P.S: The beta releases have an expiration time of 3-4 weeks and I will upload new and improved version by then. Please report any issues that you run into, so I can go ahead and fix them as the program in it's early beta stages.

Test it before you use on your regular stakes to make sure you not run into some weird issues.

When I run the .exe it does nothing. I have .NET installed and I run it as admin.
Only thing I see is that it tries to connect to the internet..

Yes it tries to connect to internet on start up to check for current time for the beta expiration, it actually goes to the http://developer.yahooapis.com/TimeS...=StackSolution

Just enable the internet connection for it.

Maybe I should add a warning message instead of just closing the program.

Let me know if you run into any other problems.

Well I click to allow it to connect on the internet on my antivirus but the program still closes down fast (I see the process for 1-2 seconds).

edit: Just to be clear.. I never see the GUI.

That's very weird.

I am about to release updated version in few minutes, that includes some code optimizations and refactoring as well addresses issue you mentioned (it doesn't just close now, but pops up window that says that internet connection missing.

If it is still doesn't help, I will PM with the link to program that doesn't has beta expiration and doesn't require any internet at all (As long as I have you word that you not going to give it to anyone).

I suspected that perhaps it uses a timer (ie 1 second to connect -> if not then closes down) and I created an exception to my firewall/antivirus and it still closes down so its not that. Lemme know when you release an update.

It does uses timer, but not for the connection itself, so should not be a problem.
I am uploading new release as we speak.

Changes:

• Fixed issue that program was closing if no internet connection been found, now it will give a message that says no internet connection.
• Refactored and optimized about 60% of existing code.

I am ok with that, I am software developer by trade, so I always have some projects of my own (beside code at work), at least I can do something that will be useful to other people :-)

Yes that exactly the message that should popup. I guess application still doesn't have internet connection.

If you want I can remove the beta expiration check so that you can go ahead and test it and use it as long as you don't give it to anyone.

Looks good, nice work.

I think the demo video with the stack in the middle of the screen is a little confusing though. It does show the capabilities well, but I couldn't follow the action watching the video.

The demo is just to show capabilities, so I opened 2NL tables and made some calls and folds to show what program can do.

• Added logs system to register any errors that may occur during runtime.
• Converted project to use full .NET4 framework rather than .NET Framework 4 Client Profile
• Added better error and exception handling
• Made some more refactoring of code
• Fixed issue with visualizing grid right after it’s been set up, it was not reading new layout but rather displayed the old one.
• Fixed issue with start and stop button, it was not clearing the list of previous tables.

I know the beta version is expires tomorrow, I have a new version to publish with refactored code and 2 additional hotkeys.

I temporarily stopped working on the program, but I have vacation coming in another 11 days so I will resume working on it and will roll out some planned updates such as design change and additional functionality.
