New customer here. Three things I would like to see implemented:

1) scalable cards etc for full screen
2) option to convert to bbs
3) option to auto check when only option

When I am doing a custom game and press the "pio" button it always brings me to the node on the flop even if I am on the turn or river in GTO trainer. Is this how the software works or do I need to change something in my settings?

This is also how it works for me. Then I have to navigate to the node in question.


If it could/would open to the node where "pio" was clicked it would be sweet but I don't think that is a feature.

Can I import hands from PIO that are saved to the turn (no rivers; small save) into GTO trainer?

Try to relaunch the app, everything should be fine.

Simple GTO Trainer version 1.2.4.1

1. Seats configuration for CUSTOM games

There is an option to configure seats for REGULAR and DRILL custom games. Seat configuration defines 2 active players and up to 7 folded players.

To set this click on the following area at create/edit screen.



After set the number of players you want to place at the table and define positions for the first and the second active player.



Press “Save” button and check that modifications are applied.



At the table screen you will see folded players [BB, UTG, CO]
And active players [SB, BTN]

Position marks are added to player boxes too.



2. “Play mode” for remote regular training

This is a first step to play against bot and now available only for remote training. Later it could be added to custom regular mode.

-> Play mode allows user to play hand until Showdown or Fold
-> The hand is played even if user made EV Loss mistake
-> After results are shown not only in EV, but also in Chips
-> Bet sizings are fixed and limited to tree configuration

To launch play mode, select remote regular configuration and click on “Play” button. “Train” mode will launch training in old way (play until showdown, fold or EV Loss error)



2.1. Understanding results



Display of result is different in Play mode. User receives information about:
- how hand ends: SHOWDOWN or NON SHOWDOWN
- winnings in Chips
- EV Loss and errors made

3. Session Summary screen

- title of session summary now contains information about Training Pack (or Custom) and Training Configuration
- session summary header contains general information about session
- option “Show in BB” is available
- play mode for regular training contains line chart with information about Overall Winnings (green line), Showdown Winnings (blue line), Non Showdown Winnings (red line)
- in regular mode, action (detail) and hand (master) tables are swapped



4. Session Screen

Line chart for all sessions is redesigned as well as session filters:
- now user can disable lines to display and enable display in BB
- there is a filter for regular games by training mode: PLAY or TRAIN
- chart now shows cumulative values for EV LOSS, GTO Deviation and Winnings (the previous version has moving average [window=5])
- sessions are marked with icons (drill, play, training)



5. BB Display

Now, it is possible to display bets, EV and other related values in BB.
To enable this option:
- set BB value in create/edit configuration screen
- enable “Show in BB” checkbox



6. Other fixes and modifications

- runout paths for SPF preflop is shown in Custom->Edit
- SB and BB settings are fixed, maximum BB value = 1000
- engines path settings are fixed, now it is available to set path with spaces and other allowed non-English characters
- loading drill sessions for remote is fixed
- loading sessions from Sessions screen is fixed
- loading SPF flops with locked nodes for drills is fixed
- numbers in scientific notation is replaced in EV and Played % tooltips
- file not found and empty range exceptions are handled
- while loading next hand, board and pot is not shown now
- “Deal cards due frequency” option is checked as a default when training configuration is created
- seats configurations and preferred position is set to every remote training configuration
- other minor fixes and modifications

How do you move from one computer to another?

You need to deactivate you license.

If you have have pio preflop solutions, can you drill//traain these in SGT?

Any chance we can get the custom game results saved (i.e., so we can view them in "Sessions") when PIO times out? Currently the program just exits and no history of the training/drill session is saved.

I'm getting time outs every so often and it's extremely annoying to have the hand history/results not being saved when the program exits when PIO hangs.

The "Pio" button that is supposed to bring up the pio solution when clicked does not work for me. I have to bring it up manually, anyway to fix this?

Hi! I'm trying to create a custom game to study second barrel, but I want to build the train with random turns, not always the same card, how should I write the "NODE ID" ?

You have to create a filter with all turn cards and then on the node ID you have to overwrite the turn card for [Filter name]

How can i create a filter with all turn cards? * I'm using Pio

On the window in which you input the Node ID on Simple GTO Trainer click on add runout filter and select all the cards.

I tried this software a while ago, but tbh i found it very laggy with PIO integration. Someone told me there were some improvements so i wanted to try again on trial license.

However, when I try to activate the trial i get a error, I assume because I purchased before at some point. Is there anyway I can trial this before I buy again?

Also is there a way of deleting old sessions in the summary page? As the results I have in there are a year old or more.

Yes, you can do it. For Pio and for SPF.

We can add a workaround to save session after each hand, but we will lose some time for saving it at your local DB.

It is better to understand what file leads to crash.

If you can point out what does not work exactly we will fix it for sure.
