Hi! Thank you for your report and I'm very glad that you like our update.

There were two training configurations with same name. One of them had a wrong name and slightly strange ranges. This configuration should not be included in the pack and was used for dev tests only.

Now it is hidden and we will decide with Vea should we include this training configuration with a different name or not.

Thank you!

Yes, sure.

Next large update would have new mode + update of remote regular configuration.

Hey, enjoying the program so far, can I do anything to stop it from crashing every ~20 hands played in custom mode? I did increase PIO time-out which seems to make it crash a bit less often (around ~25h now instead of ~15), but it still does.

It's very annoying because 70%+ of the hands I play in the software get lost like this and I cannot review myself.

Thanks

PS it seems to happen more often when I run more instances of the Custom Games (eg 2-3 tabling), as 1 table is boring af.

What processor do you guys recommend for a casual user?

Hey, could you please provide more detailed info about that.
Two things would be really helpful:
1) Examples of *.cfr files you are using
2) Description of configuration (drill/regular, node id, show initial/actual range)

I think that we fixed many of the issues regarding Pio communication, but it also could be some hidden problems.

We would extend your trial if issue exists and you can help us to fix it.

Thank you!

It depends on the engine you are going to use for custom training which involves real-time calculations, loading calculated file, etc.

SGT itself does not require powerful processor. For SPF user we recommend Intel Core i7 with SSE4 support.

Yes, the engine (SPF or Pio) is required for custom training.
Cloud packs run without engine.

Alright, i own PIO already so i'll use that i guess.

Do you recommend Intel i7 or should i look into amd? If so, what would be a good amd processor in the same price range?

You get more bang for your buck with AMD. Check out threadripper 1900x, 1920x and 1950x.

It kinda bothers me that the training packs you provide are subscription based and not a one-time purchase. It's not like you really have a plan to update them or add to them in any way, right? There's quite a bit of free solutions out there with calculated preflop ranges, why would I subscribe to yours?

There are three general reasons for that:
1) We rent high performance servers to provide you real-time training
2) We are going to expand packs: add preflop, turn / river drills (already done for custom training)
3) Packs contain thousands of flops and are expensive themselves. One-time purchase would be more expensive in times.

It would be great to have ability to practice playing against GTO solutions that are computed by GTO+ solver. Are you going to make it?

It depends on the complexity of integration. As you can see, there are absolutely no issues with our native engine - SPF. But sometimes, users are experiencing issues with Pio files.

Anyway, we are open for collaboration

Are you going to build an iOS App for Simple GTO Trainer? It would be very useful to be able to train from the iPhone and iPad using GTO Pack for example.

I downloaded the PLO version. However, it seems very different to the NL one. Is it not yet fully working or am I missing something?

How do I create a drill with multiple flops? I have the free version of Simple Postflop and I created a few node locked flops using the same tree. However, after I set the solution directory to the proper folder where all my solutions are stored, on the "SELECT NODE" I see each flop separately under "Flops" where it says Ranges, EffStack, and StartPot (which all of them say the exact same thing) and of course if I click on one, there's only one flop for each one. In the demo video, I see the person clicking one and a bunch of solved flops appear under "Flop Files."

Yes, we are thinking about it. We have some activities on that. But it would not be possible to train custom games.
What do you think about it?

Simple Poker PLO is in beta version now. Fully functional Omaha is planned to be released in this year. SGT support is also planned, but we are not sure about custom games. We think that there is not plenty of users who would be able to use it due to large amount of RAM

I think, you are doing everything in correct way. But there could be issues with grouping trees with locked nodes.

Please try to create drill configuration for trees without locks.
On our side we try to investigate this.

Thank you

Looks like you're right about not being able to group trees with locked nodes. This is kind of big deal to me since I'm trying to practice defending against 100% c-betting. I will purchase this trainer as soon as you can fix this.

It depends on what you mean by browsable.

1) You could not load solutions as you do for SPF packs (because of specific server format and real-time recalculations on server)

2) You can see detailed pack description by clicking on "Details" button under packs list. Description has a link to flop examples.
Also you can check description online:
