But what do the dice button in the lower right hand corner and the Pio button do i don't think it's mentioned in any of the videos?

Also in the drill game is there a way to skip certain hands if you know the answer already and is there a way to pick specific hand combos to train or does the program go through 50 hand combos of all variety

Still crashing for me. Sometimes after 20 hands, sometimes after 8. I only play 10 at a time now.



Nobody else has this problem?

I'm running drills with 257 flops. Maybe that's too many? You think some of those files could be corrupt? They seem fine when I set up the drill.

I'm getting an error after 1.2 update when using regular training from SPF files. Hands not included in the simulation gets chosen and I have had it happen on two different computers too. Is this a known bug or should I email save files and all that?

1. [PioSolver] crash during the game

This problem exists but no one can reproduce it in structured way or provide clear description. It appears randomly and some time is required to investigate it. You can downgrade your version if you are experiencing such problems.

2. SPF hands are out of range

To fix it, select your training configuration click on “Edit” and set “Use range to choose the cards” enabled. This would provide with weighted and random hands from range.

3. Could not login / change password

Use HTTP instead of HTTPS:
- http://simplepoker.com/en/signup
- http://simplepoker.com/en/restore

4. Dice in the right bottom corner

This is randomizer and could be handful for choosing actions in regular training.

5. SPF drill edit leads to app crash

Fixed.

6. Could not login to the app

Internet connection is required when you launch the app.

The fixed version would come ASAP.

I made a SB v BB sim on PIO using 184 flops. I would like to work on my flop play only, for the moment. SO i would like SGTOT to use the 184 flops and practice.

Would you be kind enough to tell me all steps to do such a thing. I feel kind of lost.

There are 2 general modes for Simple GTO Trainer:
- drill (select played % for single action at specified node)
- regular (played against GTO Engine until error / fold / showdown)

Both modes are set up for multiple files (flops). You just need to select directory with them.

2) It should work. You can activate your trial and check it. We also could have a look if you contact us and provide examples of node locked trees.

How do i use the "use range to choose cards" function?

Also im experiencing a lot more bugs/crashes with new update with "pio is taking to long to respond" and i'm on drill game for 2/50...

Made it to 26/50 this time so fustrating it crashes but it never even saves the session can u update it to save it at least or stop crashing... does it have to do with computer RAM/disk?

Just updated to v 1.2.1 and noticed that you removed the PIO shortcut on the bottom left of the table when loading an already played session on the custom games section. Can you please consider adding it again? I think it is a really useful feature while practicing with GTO trainer but it’s also very useful to review sessions already played.

Is there going to be a improvement on this? I am getting a lot of spots where I am shown a error because of a small ev difference between actions even though both are chosen in GTO.

Perhaps only show a error if EV difference is greater than X and allow user to set X?

Secondly, I am struggling to set up turn drills in PIO. I am not sure if the program can even do what I want. Eseentially I want to set up a turn drill where IP has c bet flop, OOP has called. OOP has checked turn and now IP has a choice to barrel.

I want to be able to practice Turn c bets on random turn cards basically. is this possible to set up?

I have read through the various instructions in this thread but, cannot seem to get it to work.

You can setup a turn drill by doing the subtree thing in Pio and then you will have those ranges but if ur doing drill game u can only do 1 run out...

Yeah you can practice turn cbets on random turn cards with regular training and doing the subtree i mentioned in pio, but you won't be able to nodelock and it's just going to be nash equil strat with ranges up to this point which is sort of pointless, regular training is pretty useless in that aspect

This option is set up by the default. You can switch it off in "Edit" window

This should be fine in 1.2.1. Users provided a lot examples and had played about 500 hands for each cfr.

There are multiple factors:
- large files are already calculated but it takes time to load this file in Piosolver engine
- small files need to be calculated

Also time is spent on loading current ranges for PioSolver. It is a separate function that also required time.

Yes, we have disabled this option. Sometimes users change the paths using "Edit" options making it impossible to use this option in session review.

or you can try to run it with Administrator permissions

1) Now for Pio and SPF both only Played % is essential. It means that it checks either you have selected possible to play action (with minor threshold) or not. There are could be situations where you have positive Played %, but still it is not the best action, so you gain EV Loss.

2) After v.1.2. it is possible to specify any runout set you want. Please look at the post with version description.

Where can I find more explanation what to use for Node ID? For example I want to drill how to defend vs a c-bet on the flop and don't know how to do it. I simply can't find any expanation online.

The issue for #1 is relating to drill game, very often the drill ends as a error due to this. When I check in PIO I often see both options are played as a mix and the EV differences are quite close.
So I can't play out the entire hand due to this.

For #2 I have followed the instructions but I cannot seem to get it to work. To reiterate, I am trying to create turn drill where IP c bets flop and OOP calls flop and we go to a random turn. Not sure if I am doing something wrong when doing it but I am sure I have followed the steps.

but seems like some cards that a player has in his range for like 5% frequency, player receives as often as the other cards with 100% frequency
is this a known issue ?
