Release Notes Simple GTO Trainer v.1.2
1) [SPF] Drill game configuration for Turn / River with runout filters
Creating a drill game for the Turn / River is now available for Simple Postflop users. Just choose a start node for these game stages and set the card filters for each street
- go to “Custom games” -> “Add” -> “Drill”
- select the folder with calculated flops
- click “Next”
- The configuration interface lets you select the lgames trees, flop files (for each game tree tree), the flop, turn and river action, as well as filters for turn and river cards
- to move to a further street, click the ending action for previous street (it will be highlighted with dark green), and tree view for the next street would be available
- there are several options for runout filters:
a) “All” - All possible turn/river runouts
b) “Add new” - will create a user specified runout filter with custom card set. These can be modified or removed
c) To edit a runout filter select it in the dropdown list and click on the green button
d) Then select a configuration name and set of cards (the name cannot be empty and at least one card must be selected)
The turn and river filters will be applied to the turn/river cards that will be dealt during the drill. For instance, this configuration has 2s2d2h2c for Turn and AsAdAhAc for River, so the turn will always be a 2 and the river will always be an A but the suits may vary.
You will receive warning message if filter could not be applied to board. For example, runout filter 2s2d2h2c (Turn and River) could not be applied to Flop 2h2s2d, because there is no valid combination of turn and river cards that can be dealt.
2) [PioSolver] Drill game configuration for Turn / River with runout filters
The previous version already supports running Turn and Rivers in Drill mode, but it is now possible to set runout filters for multiple runouts.
v.1.1 path - r:0:c:c:As:c:c:Ks:c - only one card could be set (supported in v.1.2)
v.1.2 path - r:0:c:c:[filter_name_1]:c:c:[filter_name_2]:c - filter name in brackets could be used
v.1.2 path - r:0:c:c:As:c:c:[filter_name_1]:c - combination of v.1.1 and new approaches is supported
Also you can apply filters to the Flop, if you are using preflop files for drills.
You can manage existing filters during the creation of the drill.
A warning message will be shown if runout filter can not be applied.
3) [SPF] Preflop Training
v.1.2 supports Preflop for Drills and Regular mode.
For training Preflop in Regular mode:
- go to “Custom games” -> “Add” -> “Regular”
- select the SPF engine, select the “open preflop files” option
- click on “Next”
- select a combination of preflop binary files and folders with flops files
You can add multiple preflop files and flop directories in one configuration. IMPORTANT: do not rename flop names and directories downloaded from SPF. The application chooses flops according to directory and file names.
To remove a row select it and click on Remove. The add button will insert an empty row. A Configuration can not be saved if there are any empty rows or rows with incorrect paths.
The screenshot above shows a game that starts at Preflop then it goes to Postflop until you make an error.
The Drill configuration for Preflop uses the same interface as the regular drill creation
- go to “Custom games” -> “Add” -> “Drill”
- select SPF engine, select “open preflop files option”, select directory with binary preflop files
- click on “Next”
Drills will be played only for selected node at Preflop.
4) [PioSolver] Preflop files supported
v.1.2 supports preflop files for PioSolver. User do not need to set specific options, just specify the directory with preflop cfr files. During drill configuration user can set runout filter for board.
5) Randomizer
We’ve added a Randomizer for all Regular games (Custom and Packs). The randomizer provides number from 1 to 100. User can click on it to generate new number.
6) Custom game configurations can be sorted by name
7) [PioSolver] Decision (error / opponent actions) is made according Played frequencies, not by EV. Played threshold is 0.001.
8) [PioSolver] During drill configuration users can halt the checking of files. If there one or more files that have specified node configuration could be saved. Also real-time progress of checking is displayed.
9) Bug with clicking on “Continue” at the end of drill session is fixed
10) Bug of opening PioViewer is fixed
11) Application crashes at different stages are fixed
12) Up to 8 bet / raise actions are supported for drills
