Hi!

Im looking for a SSS coach, I have bankroll for NL100, but maybe it would be correct to start from NL50, and I have some experience playing SSS. I was FL player before and I know that SSS is very mathematic and I dont have any problem with it, i can learn fast cuz im studying engineering.

First of all, I dont have money but I have time, and well...time is money . This doesnt mean Im not gonna pay you for your coaching because I will.

Second, my offer is to pay you with a percentage of my winnings. I guarante you to play "X" hands per month and to apply all the concepts/strategies you can teach me.

Third, We have to make a list of objectives that we have to do in a determined period of time, so try to be realistic with it. For example, NL50 to NL200 in "Y" time.

Fourth: I need a study program, so experienced players with good stats and coaching experience are the ones im looking for.

The numbers of hands to play, the objectives are determined by you and also the percentage of my winnings (be realistic Im gonna study the best offer).
I have 7 hours everyday for poker(for both studying and playing). Make your calculations with it.

Interested PM me.

thanks!

Since we use this tool away from the tables, is there a "rule of thumb" you use, like a fixed percentage of the opponent's steal range for all players?

Please help on this. I'm at a loss on what to use for a calling range. Thanks.

Where do the ranges come from when I drag to a certain %? They appear to be different than in pokerstove.

So I just started playing sitngos online and I do not use any programs, I always thought I should invest in one though, why does it say at the bottom that this is for "offline use only" and you can get disaplin'd or whatever for using this online, I thought it was ok to use these types of programs online? am I wrong? or is there just somthing about this specific program that makes it so you can't use it online, I know there are ones out there like "sng power tools" that you have to pay for, I thought it was all legit to use online. if you truly aren't allowed to use any of these softwares online, I am happy

Jet,

I use your calculator as a learning tool every once in a while and I had a question (using Version 2.1). Let's say the villain steal range is 28.8%, and his call range is 17.3%.

Raise size= 3x (BB)

Effective Stack= 20.0 (BB)

Position: BB vs SB

The calculator has produces an +EV jam range of: (44+, A8s+, ATo+ and QKs). This range includes 22 hands. However, shouldn't we be receiving a range that includes the 22 hands that give us the best heads up equity?

My 22 hands would be: (55+, A9s+, KJs+, KQo, ATo+). I came up with this range by plugging each hand into pokerstove against a 15% range and ranking each hand by by heads up equity. For example, KQo had a heads up equity of 46.0% (ranking 16th), while 44 had an equity of only 43.8% (ranking 24th). So why would the calculator be including 44 over KQo? Is it taking into account that a villain is more likely to be holding Ax when calling a shove?

Any input would be much appreciated, I don't quite understand what your calculator is basing it's hand rankings off of. I Wasn't able to PM you since this account is new.

Regards,

Striker

There are simply more combo's of KJ than 55 for example

But heads up against a given range KJs will perform about 1.5% better than 33. So wouldn't you want the KJs in theory?

Someone has a gun to your head. They say: "against this 15% range you can push with KJs or 33, the choice is yours. If you lose you die."

KJs = 44.6% equity

33= 43.2% equity.

So you have to take the KJs correct?

Hi New York Jet,

I'm having a strange problem with SSS. No matter what I do with the sliders and buttons the card table is always totaly green. It never marks anything as a fold.

Is this a strange bug or am I using SSS wrong?

Hi,

Can I know why is it better to raise KTs instead of ATo?

I mean, if you select a villain steal range of 10.1%, it says KTs but not ATo. Wouldn't it be better to raise ATo? Specially with 20bbs?

Thank you,

Samy

EDIT: Also, adjust for players left to act... What does it mean? If we are calculating the 3bet range against an OR, it calculates the probability of how often a guy will call our jam because he's ahead of our 3betting range ????

DeluxeSamy,

The hand strength issues here might depend on the ranges of other players. Eg, if opponent's range is ATs+, AJo+, it is better to have KTs than ATo.

Ups, sorry I can't edit. What does have Adjust for players left to act take into consideration?

1) dead money in sb/bb
2) players left that have at least 50% of equity vs. our worse hand in our 3bet range

?

Thank you very much !

And also, if a guy minraise on the BTN with a 100% range and we are on the BB, we can ship 42% of the range? That's awesome, is that true? xD
