I will look into this. What is happening when you try to use it? Are you getting an error message or is nothing coming up?

For the All-In Hand viewer, does that just show hands that you pushed all in preflop? There are only 6 hands showing for me out of nearly 20k hands.

This is a bad carry-over from CPST. I think that I just copy/pasted it and never really checked it. I'll take a look at it, but the new version may have more filters so that the viewer becomes obsolete.

Do you have PostgreSQL installed? Did you put the correct information in the database text boxes (including your password) and click the Test Connection button?

Are you downloading it from the correct link? Redlotus has made new posts throughout the thread rather than updating the first post. The latest download link is in this post; clicky

I just played a session, where at one point I was down 5 buy ins, playing NL50. The graph for today shows the lowest point was only -$130 instead of around - $250.

It seems the actual total amount for money lost during the session is correct though.

I can't really make out the specifics of the error. Have you tried using SharpStats yet? Unless you're importing hands from before July of last year, there should be no reason to continue using CPST.

You aren't trying to right-click-->download are you? Megaupload requires that you verify that you're not a bot before it lets you download.

My guess is that this is happening because of the way that hands are imported and then retrieved. SS imports an entire file at a time and then moves on to the next. Since the graph pulls the hands in the same way they are imported, it will show one file in its entirety before moving on to the next. I assume that you were down 5 buyins across several tables and then fought your way back. The only way I could change this behavior is if Cake started putting a time stamp in their HH files.

OK. Give the following links a try:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ORBBGV81
http://files.openomy.com/public/redl...%200.1.4.4.zip

Both of these are a newer revision that I made up several days ago but could never manage to get uploaded. IIRC, the only thing I changed in this revision was the future date bug with the rewards page. If you don't use the rewards page, there's no reason to update. But if you do, you can just install this version over your current installation--there's no need to uninstall/reinstall.

Hey Red, thanks for the new update

I got the same error as last time with the Rewards page for rakeback, then realised that it had 2008 selected as default so I changed to 2009 and it seems to be working.

Can you tell me exactly how accurate this rakeback calculation is? Is there a margin of error advised to take in to account? I don't want to think that I have X amount of RB due and it turns out to be < X because my BR is pretty tight right now.

Cheers

EDIT: Just after noticing that if I calculate for any month but the current month, I get the old error saying "Unhandled exception has occured in your application (...) ERROR: 22008: date/time field value out of range: "2/28/2009".

Alright. I think I know what's going wrong now. Will get things fixed up for the next version.

As for the accuracy, I really have no idea. I haven't been playing on Cake for the past few months since I'm bonus-whoring other sites, so I don't really have any numbers to compare SS's calculations to. I wouldn't count on SharpStat's numbers until you've been able to compare it with your actual RB for at least a month.

Cake changed their HH format. I will try to get a fix out this weekend. In the mean time, delete the line "Tournament ID:4458855, Table 1" and the error message at the bottom , then click the 'ReRun HH Through Converter and Parser" button. **Edit**Nevermind. It looks like a more complicated fix, so deleting that line won't necessarily work.

OK. Here is a quick bug fix release. Down load it here.

Revisions:
New Tournament Hand Histories are now supported
Fixed a bug on the rewards page for computers that don't understand the "MM/DD/YYYY" date format.

To Install: Just unzip and run setup. The installer should overwrite any old files. To double-check that you have the latest version installed, go to Help-->About SSCPN Beta. The version should be listed as 0.1.4.5.

Thanks,

Would it be possible for the installer not to overwrite all settings?

Once I can get SharpStats more stable, I will be able to change the way that the settings are saved. Until then, resetting the settings helps to prevent compatibility issues between versions.

Yes. Beta 5, which I'm currently working on, does a much better job with the graphs. Speaking of which, here's a quick teaser for you:

So far, I only have the cash game graph partially completed, but things are starting to move along

And since I'm posting teasers anyway, here's a screen shot of the revamped Tournament Results tab:

I've found a way to link the results with the hand history files. It's not 100% accurate with HHs before the latest update (where they started adding the tournament id to every hand), but it should make things a lot easier to get all of your results recorded.

clsParser is the Class that converts the hand history into useful data. Is this happening as a pop-window during the import process, or is this the error you see in the Database Editor?

New graph looks good, looking forward to it!

Ugh. Made a minor mistake trying to make the parser compatible with the new Hand Histories. Unfortunately, this minor mistake makes all Hold'Em hands look like Omaha High hands, which is no good.

No more waiting. Since it would be foolish to put out a small bug-fix, make you guys reset your databases and reimport all of your hands, and then turn around and do it all again in a week, I'm going to release Beta 5 now. You can download it here.

You will need to do the following if you are upgrading from Beta 4:
1) [Optional] Start up SS Beta 4 and Reset the database. Since Beta5 uses a different Database Name, this step isn't entirely necessary, but it will free up room on your hard drive.
2) Move all of your imported hand histories from the Working directory back to your import directory.
3) Uninstall SharpStats
4) Download and install Beta 5.

Configuration is nearly the same as Beta 4 with a couple of differences:
1) You need to initialize the Tournament and Bonus databases separately. Both of these database need to be initialized before you can use the Rewards and Tournament tabs.
2) The Folders area is set up a little differently. Instead of limiting you to 5 pre-named skins, you can add as many import directories as you'd like. Also, unlike Beta 4, you must set up your rakeback information correctly when you set up a folder.

Changes for Beta 5:
- Added Aggression Factor by Street statistics
- Added ShowDown and Non-ShowDown winnings to the profit graph
- Added an All-In Only option to the profit graph
- Added a Note area in the Hand History Viewer
- Revamped the Tournament Results tab so that Tournaments are linked to hand histories (Note that this link will not be 100% accurate except with the recently updated hand histories)
- Completely revamped the Parser to include a lot more information. I hope to set up a complete filter system in the future. Unfortunately, this will slow down your import speeds by a small amount.

Since I am releasing this a little earlier than I expected, there are a few unfinished items that will take a little time to get wrapped up:
- The profit graph only covers cash games. I hope to get tournament chip net wins, tournament results, and cash games separated by Blind level in the near future.
- The All-In Hand Viewer has been completely disabled. It's still there, but you just can't see it.
- There are a few stats in the list for the Hands tables that won't actually appear. These stats (PFR, VPIP, and WTSD) were just flags that I was using for testing during Beta 4's development, but I never got around to adding them to Beta 5.
- Most of the "Unexpected Results" import errors will not trigger the error message of the import results pop-up. This means that you should check the Import Errors in the Database Editor after each import, even if SharpStats doesn't tell you that it found an error.

That's it. I will be posting some instructional posts shortly to go over a couple of the new features.

Let me know if you guys have any questions, comments, suggestions, etc.

Thanks,
-red
