Used this over the summer and it worked like a charm, just downloaded the new version and can't get the hotkeys to work to swap tables from slot to slot

All the slots are in place and tables are being recognized just fine, it's just the hotkeys that aren't working. Is there something i could be missing/forgetting?

Before, if i clicked on a table and then clicked the 'up' arrow, that table would swap with whatever table was in slot 15, 'down' arrow and it would swap with 16. Nothing is happening tho . All tables just stay where they are. The only way i can swap is to manually drag them with the mouse.

edit: nevermind figured it out. i forgot to check the 'hotkey swapping' box in the options :>

Yeah, that will do it. Hotkey swapping is not on by default, so a fresh install would have turned it off.

Awesome tool, TheIrishThug.

One question, I've been using this with FTP and recently added the PokerStars RegEx to the same configuration. Now, PlaceMint works with both sites, but when it resizes Stars' windows for me, the graphics get messed up most of the time. Especially in smaller window slots, the Stars tables get cropped, as if the table remained at it's original size before PlaceMint moved it.

Here's a pic:

Notice how the FTP windows scale and look correct, but the larger Stars tables have graphic "issues" and the smaller Stars table does not scale properly in the smaller slot in the bottom row.

When I resize the Stars' windows myself, they scale correctly. It's almost as if PlaceMint moves/scales the Stars' windows too quickly for PokerStars software to adjust?

BTW, I've tried tweaking the refresh delay in the Options dialog from anywhere between 200-1000ms, but it doesn't seem to change the scaling problems with Stars' tables.

Thanks again and nice job on this program

PokerStars has an issue where their window does not always properly redraw the graphics when the table is resized. The workaround is to use the Send F5 feature. Search this thread for the details about the change you need to make to the PokerStars User.ini file in order to make this work properly. It is not known if any other site reacts to an F5 key stroke, so there may or may not be adverse effects when this happens on a site that is not PokerStars.

Thanks, that fixed the Stars graphic redraw issue. FTP doesn't seem to care about F5, and I don't have other programs that are intercepting it. Works great.

For those too lazy to search, to fix Stars redraw issues, edit your User.ini file in <windows root>:\Program Files\PokerStars, and add the following line under the [Options] section:

Quote:
F5RedrawTable=1
Save your changes and then in PlaceMint go to Tools -> Configure and enable the Send F5 option under any window groups that use PokerStars regular expressions. Save your changes and restart the PokerStars client if you had it open.

Thanks. I added a page to the wiki so that this information can be easier to find.

Better to find the user.ini via lobby>help>open my settings folder as it's not always in this location.
Don't forget to close PS after opening user.ini

+1. I went and looked at my Program Files/PS/user.ini, and the F5 redraw=1 was already there. When it wasn't working in the client (but was working on Google Chrome) I used this method. When you close the client you want to select 'keep external settings'

Hey TheIrishThug --

I have a small feature request. Can you add an option so that PlaceMint will start minimized to the system tray?

Thanks

Does anyone have a working Regex for Ongame and/or Merge and/or Entraction.

I just started using PlaceMint with TableNinja. I have a problem where my hand is getting folded on Stars when a new table pops up because I was on the waiting list. I think is only happening on the table that has focus but I am not sure.

I have the F5 key mapped to "AA Fold to any". Does PlaceMint use it?

If you are using Send F5 in PlaceMint, than PlaceMint is sending the keystroke. Anyone who is listening should hear that keystroke. Send F5 is a workaround for Stars tables not redrawing correctly, but it is not a perfect solution. If you have to use Send F5, I suggest you map the TableNinja action to a different key.

I am not sure if I need Send F5 but I had it checked. I just mapped my TableNinja hotkey to a different key. Love the program. Thanks

I am running an older version of PlaceMint, v1.0.0.0, which doesn't have the Send F5 check box under Configure.

Basically Id like to set up PlaceMint for PokerStars but i dont want to lose the layouts i have already set up for other sites.

If i download the latest version will i lose the layouts I have saved for v..0.0.0? What does Send F5 do, can I set up Stars tables with v 1.0.0.0 - or do I need to update PlaceMint, what is the best way to solve this, can I save my layouts from v1.0.0.0?

Thanks

El helado Patata.
Merge - It's not really a great expression, but there really isn't much to work with.
Code:
.+?\s-\s.+?\s\(\d+\)
B2B/Enctractino - I need more than 1 window title so that I can see how things change between titles. Different game types will also be beneficial.

runway model,
You won't lose your setup when you upgrade. You only need SendF5 if you are sizing the PokerStars tables to something that isn't the default size.

Kaiji,
Post the window title and an expression can be made. Post the title for multiple windows, unless it is always the same text.

I'm trying to configure this for PokerStars. The lobby snaps into the slots but the tables do not and seem completely unaffected by PlaceMint. I do have PokerStars and PokerStars Lobby checked in the Settings tab. Is there anything that would explain this issue?

Thanks

The expression named PokerStars will match the tables. The expression named PokerStars Lobby will just match the lobby. If you want the group to match both, both should be checked.

right, they are both checked but only the lobby is snapping into slots
