If you use Ripple Forward, your current windows will be moved up in the list and force new ones to open at the bottom.

I dled and when I open it, I get an error instantly saying it has stopped working and looking for a solution, then it quits. Does it not work for vista or something obvious?

The only thing I've seen that makes it fail initially is if .NET isn't installed, but Vista should already have that. There maybe messages saying some configuration files can't be found, but that won't keep the program from running.

Code:
^(Tournament#\d+:|[\w\.\s]+)\s((\(Turbo\s?|\(|)(\)|\)|6-(M|m)ax\)|1\son\s1\)|)\s?\d+|Buy-In\s\$[\d\.,]+\s:\sTable\s\d+)\s-\s(Limit|No Limit|Pot\sLimit)\s(Texas\sHold'em|Omaha)\s-\s\$?[\d\.,]+/\$?[\d\.,]+(\sAnte\s\$?[\d\.,]+)?$
Also I already made a regex for the lobby, here it is:
Code:
^Cake\sPoker\sver[0-9\.]+\s-\sLogged\sin\sas\s
EDIT:credit goes to EazyDoesIt for doing this

I think an AHK could be made to sort the tables by blind level because it can read the window title, or maybe just an addition to StarsPlanner. The Ripple Forward option in PlaceMint might also work for your situation, though I have never tried it.
Just saw this post in another thread.

Can I use PlaceMint to organize my sit&go tables in order of when they started? I've always wanted StarsPlanner to do this. To be clear, I want to have it work like StarsPlanner and move both my Stars and FTP tables up one slot in my layout whenever a game closes. This way, the sit&go that has been running the longest will always be in the top left.

Possible?

Yes, that is what Ripple Forward is designed to do. Just make Slot 1 the top left and make bottom right your Slot N.

Hi everyone,

I am really looking forward to using this software but for some reason I just simply cannot get it to load my tables. I have read through this entire thread and think that I have done a pretty good job setting it up and I used the FTP regex code suggested but my problem is that the program itself never seems to respond to me opening up FTP.

It just sits there with my group name and nothing ever pops up like it doesn't recognize anything. I realize I am probably making some silly mistake but for the life of me I cannot figure it out. This is very broad complaint but any suggestions?

Just to review, I have entered in the FTP regex discussed in this thread (is there another one I should try? I want to be able to play FTP SNGS NLHE. I have created my layout using the slots and assigned hotkeys. Any random shot in the dark is appreciated before my head asplode.

Thank you

PS - I AM running a virtual machine with the newest copy of windows vista home premium. I doubt that this would have an effect though since I have not run into any software that VR hasn't been able to run.

Wow, I can't believe I didn't realize this until now. I have wanted something that would do this for a really long time. Will make 12-15 tabling sit&gos sooo much easier and better.

Tytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytytyty ty. Seriously, ty.

Could one of you RegEx geniuses give me a hint on how to set up a RegEx that will work for both PS and FTP tables?

try downloading the poker regex files from sourceforge on the placemint page, and also template slots, then on option change the default regex and template files to the ones downloaded, that poker regex file contains all the popular sites already.

Great tool. Took me awhile to figure out those expression.

For Bwin

Code:
^.+\s.*
PlaceMint: Window Positioning Tool Quote
02-08-2009 , 09:02 PM
The regular expression is too generic. It will match any window that has at least one character before a space. That matches all but one of the windows I have open right now on my desktop. You will need to make that much more specific for the application you want.

I'm trying to figure this out on my own, and I'm assuming I need to combine the PS and FTP RegExs from the poker RegEx list, but not sure how I do that?

You assign more that one regular expression to a window group. Just check off all the expressions you want to be used.

TY TY TY - Although I felt like I did this about 10 times, I tried it again after your post and this was the only problem I was having. I really was feeling like a total moron but the program is super easy to set up! It's strange I swear I dled the regex file as it was one of the first things I read on this thread.

Anyway, Great program thanks for all the help.

I'm still struggling with getting:
Most windows in a stack.
One window off to the side.

I want to be able to move one window from the stack off to the side so I can watch important stuff happening. I want to be able to put that table back in the stack when I'm done.

Currently I have a group with a ton of slots right on top of each other. I have another slot off to the side. The problem I'm having is that whenever I put the 'off to the side' window back in the stack one of the stack windows pops over to the side slot. I want them all stacked. Bah.
PlaceMint: Window Positioning Tool Quote

For now, that basically is the way it is. Since the "stack" is something the user made and not a concept PlaceMint understands, there is no way to move something back to the "stack". You will just have to live with leaving the table there after you are done with it until there is a new table you want to move off the "stack".

Since this has been the number one question of late, I have kicked around the idea of how a stack could be implemented. That being said, I don't have time to work on PlaceMint until May, if I decide to make this addition.
