Schwatt,
Cake Poker Ring
Code:
^Ring\sGame:\s\d+\s\[.+?\s\d+\]\s-\s((No|Pot)\s)?Limit\s((Texas\s)?Hold'?em|Omaha)(\sTable)?\s-\s\$?[\d\.,]+/\$?[\d\.,]+(\sAnte\s\$?[\d\.,]+)?$
The Everleaf expression matches those window titles.

Bovada
Code:
^\$[\d\.,]+/\$[\d\.,]+\sNo\slimit\sHold'em\s-\s
qoNtrol,
Boss
Code:
\d+\s-\s.+\sTH\s\d+\s-\sTable:\s\d+\s-\s
Pretorian,
What are you stuck on? What is not happening? You did not mention selecting an expression for the group. Did you do that?

Thanks Thug.

However, if I go to Tools > Configure> Edit RegEd List and Add a new group with your code here, it still doesn't work for the Bad beat Jackpot and 50BB or straddle games.

Should I do something else to get it working?

Make sure you have selected the new expression for the group you have set up. Then you need to save the configuration and close the Configuration Window.

here are some more tables:

Zagreb - NL Hold'em - €0.25/€0.50 blinds - [Connection is good+]
Madrid 11 - NL Hold'em - €0.25/€0.50 blinds - [Connection is good+]
Tbilisi 17 - NL Hold'em - €0.10/€0.20 blinds - [Connection is very good+]
Grimstad 20 - NL Hold'em - €0.50/€1 blinds - [Connection is very good+]

Hmm, all of those are matched by the expression. Check to make sure there isn't any extra spaces at the end of the expression. That could cause it to not work properly. Other than that, I'm not sure. Since it is working for other windows with other expressions, it has to be something specific to this expression.

Strange, it's still not working for Everleaf. Are you sure a character isn't wrong or misplaced? (I notice it says "good luck" in there which is wierd bc it never says that at the tables)

I went back thru this thread and haven't seen one person with a working expression for Everleaf. Multiple people have said that one won't work for them.

Thanks again!

This probably isn't the most elegant expression, nor will it catch every table name, but it works.
The only issue is that the windows keep flickering. I hope someone can assist with that one.
All you have to do is add the additional names of the tables that you want captured. I hope this helps.
This works for Everleaf, but he is correct, the windows flicker.

Is there any tutorial/guide for placemint ? I dont want to ask noob questions :-(

There is a wiki with a detailed description of all the settings. On there there is a quick setup guide that covers the basic steps to getting up and running.

Also, don't be scared to ask questions. Just make sure they are detailed so I can better help you. Talk about what you are trying to do, what PlaceMint is doing, and why you think PlaceMint isn't doing what it should.

Ok fire up
I want to have 4 windows with several slots each window , I will move manually each window . I configured all slots and they work . I need placemint dont change between windows .
I mean , I have 5 slots in window 1 and 5 slots in windows 2 .
I want to move a window from window1 into window2 but keep all window2 (off course there is enough slots free)

It sound like you are talking about stacking windows on top of each other in the same location. You can do this by setting the Max Window Count for the slot.

For the sake of consistent terminology: A window is an application window that you want to control. A slot is a location where a window can be positioned. A stack is a slot that can control more than one window.

Such an awesome program, thanks a lot for doing this!

Is it possible to detect the notebox from HEM, where the only text in title is the players nick?
PlaceMint: Window Positioning Tool Quote

Use the Details Grabber to get the window's class name. Then do the same with some of the other HEM windows to see if they differ. If there is a difference, then it can be done.

Notebox:
#32770 (*player nick*)

Hand History Viewer:
Afx:00400000:20:00010005:00000000:04F4237F (Replayer)

Main window:
WindowsForms10.Window.8.app.0.33c0d9d (Hold'em + Omaha Manager Professional 1.12.09 www.holdemmanager.com DATABASE: holdemmanager)

HEM Replayer:
WindowsForms10.Window.8.app.0.33c0d9d (Holdem Manager Replayer)

Seems like all other windows in Holdem Manager besides the noteboxes and hand history viewer has that same class. WindowsForms10.Window.8.app.0.33c0d9d

ChickRaise,
As you can see from your other postings, #32770 is not unique. It is the value Windows uses for for its dialog boxes. Since the notes window for HEM does not have anything besides the player name as the title, it can not be isolated exactly. If you don't mind the other windows you listed (that have matching classes) also being included in the group, you can use that as a class expression and deal with the occasional inclusion of an extra window in the group.

pokerbiker,
The reason that you are having a hard time finding a way to do that is because the regular expression syntax was designed to specify things that DO exist. I also suspect that you don't want an expression that is that broad. That expression would match every single non-HEM window you have open, that includes Firefox, Notepad, Word, etc. Can you be more specific about what you are looking for?

i want to position the HH review windows from hem2.

it looks like its possible of combination of class regex, but not this title reg ex.

but i cant leave the title regex emtpy as it needs to exclude this title.

I have 4 slots , I want to change a windows from slot 1 to slot 2 with a hotkey .
Is that possible ?
PlaceMint: Window Positioning Tool Quote
02-02-2012 , 07:51 PM
pokerbiker,
Yes, you can use just class expressions. You can also watching windows that match any title expression OR any class expression. You have to enable this, the default is that if a title and class expression exist, they both must be matched.

MrTynKyn,
Yes. While editing the slots, you can assign a hotkey to the slot.

I'm totally lost. I can set it up as per the basic instructions of the wiki and get it to place the Pokerstars Lobby where I want it. But then I want to start placing HEM 2, TableNinja etc I come unstuck. I've searched a bit on this thread but it's a longggg thread.

Do I just need 1 group?

Here's what I tried for TableNinja I clicked Edit RegEx List - clicked AddNew - entered Title TableNinja, entered ^\sTableNinja for the regular expression (Have no idea if that's correct - just what I found when searching this thread). I added a new slot - don't know how I'm meant to assign a slot to TableNinja specifically.

Any help would be great - just to get a better idea of what I'm doing. Is there aguide somewhere for regular expressions also.

If you want a specific window to be placed in a specific slot, than you will want to make a window group for just that expression. This way, you will have a collection of slots in the first group that can be used by any table and a single slot in the second group that would always have Table Ninja.

Thanks Thug. Well have it working for TableNinja - in case it helps someone the correct RegEX for me at least was ^TableNinja.

Just wondering is there a way to start with TableNinja minimised?
