Thank you very much for the program. I believe it will help me a lot. HM1 works well with alias for ipoker network. (I had problems when I put my nickname)

Great - thanks

Yes, some have had trouble using their nicknames for some reason, but aliases seem to work.

There has been many questions about the port to HM2 but now that PT4 is out, what about it? Is there any significant amount of work needed to make it compatible with PT4? I am asking because Valuecheck is so important to me that I won't upgrade to PT4 until valuecheck is supported!

Thanks - that's nice to hear

I'll have a look at PT4 and see what it looks like.

Well, that went better than expected

Version 1.0.3 with PT4-support:

http://home.haugnett.no/minusev/ValueCheck.zip

Given it a quick test-run (9 hands at PS) and it looks like it works as it should, but let me know if anything seems off.

Kudos to the PT-team for keeping a structure which makes it easy to pull stuff out from the database for 3d party development!

Hey Minus it seems that valuecheck alerts just once no matter the target options you have. For example I set up a 4 BIs won alert and also an alert for 60 min of playing time, I reach the 1 hour of playing time but I still want to keep playing till I reach the 4 BIs profit, at this point if I reach this profit ValueCheck won't warm me. Could you please check this issue? I'm using PT4 Database.

Do you have the "alert just once" under 'options' checked?

Yeah I have

Then you have to uncheck it - making sure that you only get alerted once, on the first target reached, is what that option does.

Quoting a previous post which may help:

If 'alert just once' is not checked, the alert is repeated every time the check is performed (based on the second interval chosen in the 'check every x seconds' box. (Except for 'minutes played' which will give a warning once a minute regardless of the check interval).

So leaving 'alert just once' unchecked and then unchecking each 'enable' as those targets are reached, will give you a notification for each target, but no repeat notification for any of them.

Can you add rake (or possibly even custom hm/pt stats) to be tracked and set alarms on just like hands or winnings?

I don't see custom stats happening - I have no clue how they work but I'd imagine that'd take quite a bit of work.

Rake could probably be done without too much work though - question is, do you want/need it enough for me to dig up the source code and start poking into things I mostly haven't touched for over a year?

Well, I do look at rake quite a bit in HM while playing. While you're at it I think you should make a logitech g13 lcd screen plugin too!

Obv unless there's more public demand I wouldn't make this a high priority, it's still a great piece of software

Are you willing to share the source code?

Heh - I'd forgotten about the G13-display thing. I had that almost finished and then the some other issue came up and took a lot of time, and I just left it. I figured I wouldn't really use it and noone mentioned it again so I never put that in.

I'll have a look at the rake, but can't promise when

Sharing the code could probably happen at some point - if I completely lose interest in updating it, I'll do so for sure (if anyone still wants it at that point )

No. When making HM2, the Holdem Manager team for some reason decided to "lock away" a lot of the stats and numbers so it's not possible to get to them, which makes it not possible to get what is needed for VC (and a lot of other basic programs/scripts) to work.

They promised an API which would help 3d-party developers right after HM2 was released, but it's not been made available yet.

Awesome stuff but without multitable support, IE support for aliases it is more or less worthless for most serious players.

This is the second time you've said this in this thread and I can only answer what I did last time: Aliases should work fine so I have no idea what you mean?

I can confirm it works with aliases in PT4. Just enter the main root alias and it should take into account all aliases under the root.
