You can try uninstalling the program ( Start -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a program - then find ValueCheck in the list, right click it and choose 'uninstall' ), restarting your machine and re-installing and see if it then works after you've updated your database details.

If it still doesn't work and you'd like to go back to the previous 1.3 version, you can download it from http://home.haugnett.no/minusev/ValueCheck1.3.zip and see if that still works for you.

You probably have to manually uninstall the newer version before installing 1.3 again.

Not sure if this got lost in the shuffle. Bump.

Starting a two week vacation tomorrow (Saturday) so there won't be any updates until I get back, but it's not far down the list after that.

I'll have internet access so I'll still be around to try to answer any questions anyone might have, but won't have access to the development tools and code to make any updates or changes.

That's strange - haven't tested it a ton, but I know it used to work earlier at least.
I'll have a look once I get back.

I cant get this to work.
It connects with my HM db I can pick my screenname.
But when I start to check Played hands always shows 0.
Does it have something to do with setting in HM under "Adjust Site Import times" I have it set to 6 so it matches my time here in Sweden.

No, Adjust Site Import or any other settings should not affect it - when the 'start check' button is clicked, it simply reads the most recent hand ID number from the HM/PT3 database and bases further numbers on hands that have a bigger ID than this one.

Have you checked the 'enable' checkbox for the 'played hands' check? Ideally it should be enough to check it under 'show in session window', but that part can be a bit flakey and some values won't show unless you also check for them.

I have now checked all enable boxes just to be safe.
And time played and hands played in Show in session window.
But still Played hands is stuck at 0 in the session window.

That's strange.

Just to make sure: You have started HM and have it importing hands as you play?

If so, are other (enabled) stats updating when you play?

Are you using an alias or your sn at a specific site from HM? If nothing is updating, please double check that you have the correct SN/alias set up.

Good question!

It's actually a picture of the head of my dog turned to b/w - the idea was a watch dog to let you know when danger arose
It doesn't scale very well though, so the icon-sized pictures aren't very obvious.

Great - perhaps you use the same sn at different sites and had chosen a sn from another site? Usually when I have problems with stuff not updating at all, it's because I've chosen the wrong sn

Either way - happy it works now

Hi

Your software recognizes the HEM database (I can choose my screenname), and starts counting the minutes but seem to not read any FTP hands (neither RUSH nor normal cash). Hand counter, win/loss and all else stays at 0.

I am probably doing something wrong, could you please help me?

thx
David

Have you checked the 'enable' checkboxes for these stats? (Not just the ones under 'show in session window', but those to the right of where you set the limits).

If so, are you using an alias or your FTP screen name? Usually when stats do not update at all (except for the time played) it is because the wrong screen name has been chosen. If you have the same screen name at several sites, please double check that it's the FTP one you have chosen.

Hi

Thanks for your fast reply.

My mistake, I hadn´t enabled any of the checkboxes because I do not need the alarms, only the display. Works perfect now.

Awesome tool.

thx
David

Great - ideally it should be enough to have them checked off as 'show' to just see them, but that part is a bit flakey currently, so if you don't want the alarms, just set the limits so high/low you'll never reach them while having them enabled.

Have you checked both the 'enable' and the 'show' for Hands played?

If you don't want the alarm to go off for hands played, just set the target to such a high value that you'll never reach it in a session.
