ValueCheck is a StopLoss tool which will work with HoldemManager and PokerTracker 3 databases.
It can be downloaded from
http://home.haugnett.no/minusev/ValueCheck.zip (unzip and run setup.exe to install).
Set the targets you want and check the 'Enable' box for those you want to check against. You can also set how often you want the program to check and whether you want to be notified just once when a target is reached or repeatedly.
Before you start, make sure you set up the configuration with your database details and sn in the 'Configuration' tab:
Select Holdem Manager or PokerTracker 3 depending on which program you are using.
The Database Configuration is set to the default values for a HoldemManager or PokerTracker 3 installation depending on which is selected, so if you have other settings here, update them and click the 'Save' button.
Click the 'Change Player' button to select your screen name:
Just start typing, and matching names from your selected database will show up.
*Note: While aliases will show up, these will not work in the program, so please choose a site name
Select your sn and click 'Select Player' to choose it.
Clicking the 'Change alert sounds' will let you configure the sound options for the alerts:
Only .wav-files can be used - also, the program can be a little picky about which .wav files it accepts, so make sure you "Test sound" after selecting it to make sure it will play. (You will still be notified if you choose an invalid .wav, but with a popup instead of a sound.)
With all that out of the way, you can now finally start checking by returning to the main screen and clicking 'Start Check' at the bottom. This will bring up the Session Results window:
This will show the current result for the values you are checking against.
If you prefer to not have the Session window show, you can check the 'Hide Session window' on the main page before clicking 'Start Check':
If this option is selected, a 'Stop Check' button will be available in the main window instead of in the 'Session window' screen.
A 'session' is not linked to your HM/PT3 session, but goes from when the 'Start Check' is clicked until it is stopped. Stopping and starting will therefore start the check again back at 0.
The program is also quite flexible when it comes to changing values, so these can be changed mid-session in the main window and will then use the new values. So if, for example, you decide you want to play a shorter/longer session, you can change the number of hands/minutes mid session.
