Thank you for making this post DWarrior. Rangemeister is actually supposed to understand HEM's format so I need to look into why that isn't happening.

As far as the rest of your suggestions, rest assured that they will be implemented as soon as possible. I agree that long bar graph kind of sucks

I haven't actually used the software though.

I just started trying to play a bit again so maybe I will get to that point in the future, right about the time the 15 month blackout takes effect.

DWarrior you have probably had the same problem that I had. It is easily solved.

You probably right clicked in HEM and asked to "View Selected HH" because that feels logical. You then saw the HH pop up and highlighted the bit you needed and pressed Ctrl/C to copy it. You then pasted it in RM (or NC for that matter) and it did not recognise the format.

That is because that particular HEM window has its own format for display which is NOT the same as a FTP HH.

The solution is to right click and choose "Copy to Clipboard" this does it in standard FTP HH format. After that just paste into RM and trim it as you want - all is then fine!

Cheers

Yeah, the Copy to Clipboard works.

I'm actually talking about the button below. If I'm reviewing more than one hand at a time, it's a mild pain to have to go back to reports, find the hand, and copy to clipboard.

I can access this if I have HUD running by clicking the "Hand History" text on top left, but the formats it provides don't get parsed by BM.

"I second the request to have RM be able to parse HM's Txt output"

^^ this please

and do we get a discount if we bought notecaddy too?
12-09-2010 , 09:21 PM
You mean the format it spits out when you right click "view selected hand" in the report? When I do that it works. Could you/someone post or PM me a hand that doesn't?

Currently there are no immediate plans to sell this software. It needs tons of work until it does what I want it to. So to answer your question we'll cross that bridge when we get there

Why isnt there a RM forum on your BB?
12-14-2010 , 03:31 PM
I am boycotting my forums because too few people have participated in the definition contest. Please help my cause by participating!

I will create the forum once NC 1.10 goes into beta

1. I had a bug after i created new RM datab. it keep showing me "Loading preferences" and nothing happens. But more than that you can use the program with this "loading" status bar.
2. It keeps showing me fatal error when i try to import hands from PT 9 times out of 10.
12-27-2010 , 09:03 AM
SretiCentV, are still you working on RangeMeister?

I truly liked what I saw in your demo on youtube, but the program does not work for me (it gives this "Obect reference not set to an instance of an object" error) - and I really hope to see this fixed in the new versions.

Thank you.

I have every intention of turning Rängemeister into an awesome software but right now I am 100% bogged down with some other tasks. I expect to put out a new RM patch in the next week or two but right now the priority is getting my other software's version 1.10 stable enough for a wider release. To help with this process, you can email a hand history that causes the error to support@notecaddy.com

Sounds great! Can't wait for the new release!

This may not be easy, as RM gives the above error with any and all cash hands i try to paste. RM does however open my tourney hands (it shows the board) - but no further actions work out. RM also for some reason indexed only 98,83% of my 2241060 hands from the PT database, and won't index anymore.

Well, anyways, thanks, good luck with the new release, and Happy new year!

any update regarding this amazing tool?

btw, I got an error... RM is freezing at "loading databases" ...

hi,

thank you for the positive comment. I was having a lot of fun developing this but it is currently suspended. The reason being that I have another product that is requiring much more of my attention than I anticipated. The other product is out of beta and I need to make sure my customers get a superior product.

There is going to be one more major release which is going to be early next month (hopefully) and after that I look forward to dedicating myself back to RängeMeister. I have huge plans for this software and I know that it will be great when everything is implemented. Please stay tuned

This is great, the most important thing is that you don't wanna abadon the project
Great, I'll stay tuned for sure

thank you for your interest in RängeMeister. I am hoping to have a new beta out very soon
10-01-2011 , 04:40 PM
I hope you are still developing this. There was a lot of interest for it. Any ETA?
10-01-2011 , 04:45 PM
I was trying to put out a new beta yesterday but my development computer is suffering after 3 years of non stop abuse. I was testing the performance and it was bad but everything is working poorly for me right now so I am actually setting up my new dev computer right now

The new beta is going to have way more features obviously
