just so there's no confusion, the person commenting before you with problems was having trouble getting his csv to work with the program. the app also accepts the zipped csv. if he wants to send me the text content of the first part of the csv file (which you can read yourself in Notepad or any text editor or programs such as excel), then i'll take a look at that to see if there's problems parsing it. this text content might contain your username or other sensitive data like amounts transferred etc. i really don't want to see anyone's personal info which is why i asked him to remove sensitive info if he did send some of the content. i'm not trying phish people nor is my app. it's open source and i welcome people to examine it.

that being said with this error i'd expect there to be no content in the file or less than 3 lines... but idk maybe there's one giant line or something that has everything. it's hard for me to offer support without more info.

figured out what the problem was, it was sent to me in xml(?) not csv. Stars support claims they can't send me my 2010 in csv, only html. WTF am I supposed to do with that? Thanks again.

On the screen where you request the playing history audit, I see three options for Report Format: Excel (97-2003), HTML, Text (CSV)

Select "Text (CSV)". Maybe stars isn't sure what "csv" is if they refer to it as "text". either way, this is the one you want. do you not have this option?

Does anyone know if there is a way to get a playing audit from FTP in any format? Emailed support but who knows when I'll hear back if ever.

Their "audit" is actually a complete hand history request feature that's in private beta, so I guess only some subset of users have it. Try this: Cashier > My Promotions > ...it takes you to a webpage... > Hand History (beta). Last time I used it, it was sort of a pain. It limited the number of hands per file so I had to request numerous files.

Be warned, do not select overlapping ranges on the requests or it will probably mess up my app's results--see the readme. After you download each file, put them in a folder and select that folder from within POKIRSCAN.

Also, anyone wanting to do some validation of the app's output can use other apps like PokerTracker or whatnot to analyze the same files POKIRSCAN does and compare the net profit/loss (for my app just subtract the total losses from the total winnings). You'll want to make sure you're considering all tourneys/cash though and keep in mind for stars POKIRSCAN counts things like bonuses as winnings too.

actually FTP will send you an .xls file if you request it. there are no HHs but it is setup very similar to pokerstars.

Unfortunately was not able to use this app because of the fact that I had some Euro games involved in my game play.

I'm curious though if maybe your app handles step tournaments which award tickets... these do not show up as a credit or debit of cash value on the spreadsheet. They would be a huge headache to add up by hand, but if the app was able to handle those SnGs then I'd go through my year and figure out which dates I played Euro games and export individual CSV files to circumvent the no multi-currency stipulation.

Does your app transalte step ticket awards and debits into cash transactions?

does this program count bonuses/fpps as winnings or are they completely ignored?
