I wouldn't waste your time with this program. You're far better off trying to internalize the concepts of equity for real using SngWiz than using a program that gives you realtime cheat info. I'm actually glad they're not around anymore tbh.

Well this thread should bring the bot-makers out of the woodwork.

because ICM concepts are so difficult to program? ICM would be the easiest part of any potential bot development. I doubt one new bot is finished because this goes open source.

FWIW SNGEGT wasn't just a realtime calculator and as an ICM calculator it was a fine piece of software. Wiz is better but you can learn many of those equity concepts just as well with SNGEGT. It also came with a couple of training tools that were designed to help make ICM decisions an intuitive process, so writing it off as a 'cheat tool' is a little much imo.

Having said that I'm pleased with the recent turn of events that will hopefully make realtime ICM calculators a thing of the past industry-wide.

For whomever is using the tool already - what would be the most desired feature you'll like to get in? (focus on the Nash calculator at first place?). We have no clue now how such dev forum will end up, but picking up one or two most wanted features and trying to implement them will be a good way to get know the coding and decide how to go from there.

Or use it only offline - which has some pretty good usecases too. I will add a reference on the project page that the online functionality is prohibited on some sites.

Yes but they also say the following yet allow observed hand datamining with poker tracker which is not banned - -

''Database programs that track information from a player's personal hand history (i.e. hands in which they have been dealt cards) are permitted''

Have you ever heard of anyone receiving compensation handed out by Full Tilt using funds taken from users of so called banned software ?? Not Likely

I have the live/GT version of SNGEGT which is supposed to automatically 'connect' to any SNG tables you currently have open/in play. Normally this works fine and I see the tables I am, in principle, connected to in the top right hand corner of my SNGEGT gui. However, when I opened it up today, although SNGEGT itself seems to open fine, it does not link/connect to any of my SNG tables! Does anyone know what might be causing this? Is there a way to manually link it to my live tables? I don't really know what to do...it's not that I use it all the time but I do like being able to refer to SNGEGT mid-game if a particularly tricky spot comes up. Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

Exactly this happened to me today. Thought it had something to do with Full Tilt's recent update. It also took out Pokertracker, which could find no hands

I guess I should have said all in calls, but you guys probably figured that.

Right now I have been increasing the push ranges. Adjusting it from say 20-24 to 10-12, if there are 2 all in shoves in front of me. Is there anything else you can do to get better results?

I have searched and read threads, but most seem to not exist anymore. Is there such a thing anymore? I dloaded SNGEGT but do not know how to install it. I cant seem to find anyone that does know.
I will eventually be purchasing wizard, but for now...

* Go to the SNGEGT downloads page and download it.
* Extract the ZIP archive somewhere.
* Go into the "binaries" folder.
* Run SNGEGT.exe (and if that doesn't work make sure you have the 2.0 .NET framework installed).
