I have taken a screenshot for my previous post, but can no longer edit it directly. I'll quote it here:

Hey guys,

I've been using FPDB on Pokerstars and FTP for quite some time now and it's been working great.

However, I just started playing at 888 and my HUD won't display anything yet it still works on the other 2 sites.

After updating from v0.40.4 to v0.40.5, I'm now able to get the HUD Main Window to detect the 888 tables/hand histories. However, I'm still getting Import errors after each hand.

"888poker20131122 Rangoon 1-2 No Limit Holdem.txt 0 stores, 0 duplicates, 0 partial, 2 errors (time = 0.016000)..."

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. The main HUD window doesn't display the name of the tables like it normally does when it's working properly.

Thanks,
Splitty.
Here's a picture of my screen with FTP and 888 both running along with FPDB.

As you can see, the hud works great for FTP but not so good for 888.

I hope this will help further the explanation of my issue.

i tried to import a huge text-file with hand histories (the file was over 100mb big) and didnt see any progress-report , after 3hours still nothing changed (just the green light animation moving all the time), i closed the prog via taskmanager bec it wasnt possible to stop import. when i restarted it it seemed that very few / no hands have been imported... is it because of the size of the file?

thx for help

EVerything seems fine. I've downloaded the program and hand histories but no graphs, player stats or anything else is coming up.

I'm running Windows Vista.

Can someone help me. I'm about to give up and move on with my life.

Hey everyone. Going to be attending to a family situation this week so I wont be around to offer help. I'd ask that experienced FPDB users step up to help out the newer users even if the questions are repetitive or unclear. Thanks

Hi Chaz,

I'd like some explanation on a couple new stats on FPDB and what implies in terms of strategy comparing them to others available in PT4.

- I'd like to see the stats % Fold to Raise after CBet in Flop and Turn or if are there similar stats in FPDB that play the same role. Most similar I've seen there is % Call a Raise.
- % DonkBetAndRaise and % Fold to DonkBetAndRaise: it means a donk bet and a raise in the next street if the opponent cbets? If yes, from my newbie perspective the stats % Fold to Turn or River Float Bet could be more useful since this situation happens more often and could converge quicker, not to mention that makes the hero spend less portion of his/her stack. Some experienced user could explain to me why is this stat more useful than the other?

Thx and good luck with your family Chaz.

Another question that I've just encountered while tinkering with the HUD.
When I edit my HUD through the FPDB menu the HUD configures fine and the new stats appear in my poker client but when I try to edit the HUD_config.xml the stats in holdem_ring section appear blank, the old stats erased and no new ones. The file only registers the number of rows and columns but no stats at all so I can't put prefixes to aid me to recognize each stat or add colours to them.
How can I edit those options in a similar way like the default HUD has?
And where FPDB is taking the config from where it reads which stats to display in its HUD then?

On SWC it seems the HUD only shows stats for the current table rather than showing all the history I have with any particular villain. Is there a way to fix this?

Quick question (and possible a dumb one, but I'll ask anyway): Does this work on the web client at all on SWC? I ask because I don't have any luck with the desktop clients at all really. Thanks!

No because the web client cannot save hand histories.

I figured it was something like that. Guess I will try a VM with Windows 7 and give that a shot.

What OS are you using right now?
For what it's worth, SWC is working perfectly on my Linux arch.

I'm using Mint 16 now. I tried the Ubuntu 12.04 client and it wouldn't start.

Do you have any error message when starting SWC from the console?
Also check if you took the correct binary between 32 or 64 bits.

i'm playing on swc, and i've noticed that the hud will not detect when a table has closed. i am not sure if this is the case across all sites or specific to swc, as that's the only place i play.

No, it just doesn't do anything. I don't know if that's something to do with Mint or not. I'm 64 bit and I grabbed the right versions. I tried both Ubuntu's so I don't know what else to try. Honestly I'm not too concerned about it, I'm not much for tracking or dealing with databases anyway.

Hi im hoping someone can help me get the HUD working. Im using pokerstars on windows 7 and have allowed both access through windows firewall. I only just stared saving hand history so dont have many saved (when i click maintanance - statistics it says just over 100). When i click on HUD it shows all the hand being imported and all tables seem to be working fine even with the limited data. I dont know if its supposed to do anything but when i click hand viewer it doesnt do anything. Im sure it is probably something simple i have missed as I couldnt get the pokertraker HUD to work either. Hopefully ive given the correct info.

Many Thanks Nick

New question. How to you change the HUD? it currently just shows
3B_PF. When I go to configure HUD and change the amount of rows and info shown n click save it says updated preferences have not loaded because windows are open. Re-Start fpbd to load them, so i close fpbd down and open them again and nothing has changed.
thanks

it's done, as long as the support for 3max games.

If you can't wait for the next release, you can patch your HUD_config.xml with these changes : https://github.com/UgoM/fpdb-ugom/co...4579e98d925397

Hello!

I want to setup this program for Full Tilt and Pokerstars.eu - mixed games and NL 2-7 Triple Draw.

I doint understand much of these coding things, so if anyone could explain hor to setup thisn program so I get HUD for all the mixed games it would be very helpful. Does this program work like PT/HM like u can go back and see your hands and graphs et.c. or is it just strictly for HUD?

I have Windows 8.1 if that helps!

Thanks!
