Have you set correctly "preferred seat" in the program "advanced preferences"?

the 0.39.5 isnt working well on full tilt 6 max - win xp. the last hand display shows automaticly the table and dosent let u see any other tables for a peroid of time. other problem is that even if i cancal the last hand display, if i move manually the position of hud block it screws the abillty to switch tables from the task bar. for now fpdb is unuseable for me. anyhow, thank u for the effort and i hope that u will mange to solve those issues.

If you are stacking or cascading tables, then the last hand display can be switched off - just remove references to "mucked" in the config. Some instructions were posted here recently.

can you please do two things:

a) - in the folder pyfpdb\lib\gdk-pixbuf-2.0\2.10.0 there is a file loaders.cache - please send this file to me bbtgaf at googlemail.com

b) open a terminal
cd to the fpdb folder
execute this command
Does this give any error message?

If there is no error, does fpdb work now?

i have no HUD showing for 27TD on Stars. i followed the steps in the following link but still no hud shows at the tables

- closed any other programs that may interfere. eg Holdem manager, placemint, TableNinaj etc

Does fpdb support 888Poker?

Yeah its working now. Couple of questions:
Sometimes when i click on a hud tile, my poker client freezes. I cant press anything, it just freezes for like 5-10 seconds.
How can i get color for certain stats? I had colors before i edited hud_config.xml.

I have one question myself: Does fpdb offer full support for zoom poker on linux?

Played a total of 20 hands and no HUD showed in the table

I got all the HH to import, but no HUD pops up (no HUD main window). Is there something else I have to do? This is for Enet and PS Zoom.

Hud works with Zoom, but 1) it isn't positioned correctly and 2) doesn't refresh often enough so it's always 1-2 hands behind.

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm running Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS.

Ok, so I tried downloading the 0.30.7 code as you recommended and when I try to open up the MS-DOS batch file, a box, (looks like a notepad box) pops up saying that; 'The system cannot find the path specified, 'gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
'fpdb_folder_check.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
'fpdb_prerun.exe' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

I'm not hugely computer literate when it comes to the nitty gritty stuff like this, any help would be massively appreciated, thanks!

I installed the Fpdb 0.39.3 version on my Windows 7 system
using “run_fpdb.bat”,
I set my screen name, the required paths for my poker room,
the hand history folder, my preferred seats on the poker tables and
tried to start the HUD - but I got

I got the same error message with the 0.39.5 version

Gimick (thanks again at this point) gave me this instruction:

So I opened a new command prompt (cmd.exe) with administrator rights , changed to my installed Fpdb folder and executed the code.
This caused that the path in the "loaders.cache" file
which points to the “libpixbufloader-svg.dll” was set correctly.
A wrong path was responsible for this error.

Maybe this helps others with the same problem.

I've been using 0.39.x (most recently 0.39.5) for the past few weeks, and it works well for me on pokerstars (WinXp, cash games and tournaments). I really like fpdb, and the new hud with its clearer display and sub-menus is another great improvement. I've downloaded the source and the various python packages which support that, and I've been using fpdb to get to grips with python - which I've been meaning to do for a long time!

I sometimes play on Titan Poker (which, afaict uses the same hand history format as iPoker), and the new site set-up at 0.39.x allows cash games to be imported as if they were iPoker hand histories (I've only tried this for holdem cash games), but I think there is a bug at 0.39.5 in the way that the hud displays iPoker hands at tables which are smaller than 10-max. iPoker hand histories use seat numbers differently from most other sites, and the stat windows are displayed in the wrong place as a result.

Taking an example: for 6-max tables the seat numbers in the hand history (and which are stored in the fpdb database) are 1,3,5,6,8,10 (not 1,2,3,4,5,6, as on other sites). This means that in hud layout positions 2 and 4 all the stats are displayed as xxx, all the stat windows (except the first) display the stats for the wrong player, and the 5th and 6th players (as iPoker seat numbers 8 and 10) are not displayed at all!

I've logged this as a bug (no 184) on Mantis (https://****************/apps/mantisb...iew.php?id=184), along with a patch which might be a solution - if it's useful, please use it (if it's ridiculous, please just laugh at it and let me know!). The patch should apply the git commit indicated - I am totally confused by git, though, so my apologies if this is not the way to do this sort of thing! I've used the wiki to try to get a git repository going, but I clearly need to give this more thought!

Next, I'm going to try out some other hand types on Titan Poker, and see if they import correctly using the iPoker hhc, or if modifications are needed. If it goes well, I might try to add Titan Poker to the code as a new site (unless I've missed something, and that's not required).

Hi. Before all, sorry for my english. I have used the fpdb since time and before i have not problems.

My problem is that the HUD is not working in sit & go and MTTs. With cash is working perfectly. I have change different folders, put correctly the favourite sit, but is the same.

I have tested in fpdb 0.30.7 and 0.39.5. My operating system is LUbuntu 12.10.
The poker room is Pokerstars.

In the HUD logs the messages are the next, between others:

Hi again. I'm testing in Virtualbox with Windows XP SP3 and happening the same. Cash perfectly, but in sits the HUD is not working.

Fpdb 0.39.5 in english with Pokerstars.

In fpdb log there are no errors.
In HUD errors the first time (in spanish) have appears a message with this:

the line is longer but i haven't copy all. The next time that i have tested in english don't appears the line.
