Much obliged.
Had to update to v. 30.6 to get FTP HUD to show up.

But then I had the same problem as some others here - 9 player S&G shows HUD in wrong places. I have to manually set it to 9 seats.

Didn't see this in the FAQ or anywhere else in the thread or when I googled so I'll try here. I play on Black Chip Poker, which generates (stupidly) .xml hand history file formats. When I try to Bulk Import nothing happens. I've converted one .xml by hand to .txt and am able to view my stats on it, but do I really have to convert my .xml files by hand to .txt every time I want to use this program? Thanks.

This depends on what you set it to show.
To change: Right-click on the Black menu window.
Then you choose which stats you want to see for you and your opponents: Session, all-time, blind-level(s). When you change something, it will show up after the next hand is imported to the HUD

Fulltilt changed the content of hand history, Holdem manager+ Pokertracker user also suffers the same problem. Btw, did 6 max SNG hud show up in the right position for u? Cash game is totally fine for me

I only play 9 max SNG, so don´t know about the others.
It is not a really big deal for me, as I generally only play 1 table at a time, so I change it manually.
However, as you and others don´t have problems with other variations, I hope it is something I can easily change in the config.file by myself, instead of waiting for another FPDB version.

Just a suggestion. It could be handy if it were possible to create and select different databases using a menu from the main program.

So, I'm trying it out, and my HUD don't get in place.

Any thoughts?

2) Mucked card no longer display. The coordinates would seem fine in the savefile.
3) When resizing or repositioning the poker table, stats are positioned totally wrong, some times on my other monitor. Shaking the table a bit or moving it around several times sometimes brings the stats to their correct places.
Since the mailing list approach didn't do much I thought I'd give this a bump.

Really weird. No matter what I do, everytime I open the software, my stats are totally out of the table, on the right.

Did you configure the HUD with "Hud Preferences" tool?

Anyway, can't you drag them in the right position, save the hud and then
A) kill it (I mean "Kill this HUD" on "FPDB Menu'...") and wait next hand
B) restart fpdb
They keep displaying like that after these 2 "solutions"?

Yes, just tried that. I put them manually in place, "save layout", them restart/kill the hud, and it keep coming back in the place it was before, out of the table, far right.

And I did configure it with "HUD Preferences", so I figured that I could've done something wrong and them reinstalled the software. Now I'm trying with its default HUD layout, and getting the same result.

Do you use an external/extra monitor with your notebook/pc?

Fpdb works fine with me but I noticed a lot of programs have trouble with this.

Yep, I've a dual monitor config. Could be it? I'll try with just one and see what happens.

And that was it! Deactivated one of them and it worked perfectly. I put the stats on the right place, saved the layout, and bingo: it gets on the right place on every other table i opened after restart the program.

It's a shame not be able to use the second monitor though, I got it especially for poker, years ago

Thanks for the help.

I have having issue with my Hud refreshing players that leave or sometimes it just imports the wrong playername all-together. I am not sure if i am doing something wrong sometimes it works fine. I am using Betonline for ring games. And i am unable to get any stats or HUD for SNG or tournaments i was wondering if there is any support for those?

WHen i log on and enter a room what order should i take to import HH? Do i have to always recreate tables then bulk-import then restart then run auto import? Or it also seems to work if i dont import anything, recreate tables, restart, then just auto import. However then it only shows a limited number of hands for players that have more hands on file. It seems like either i can have full histories on some people or very few hands on the whole table by not importing... What am i doing wrong please help.

I have tried reseting everything including the .xml file. And it always just seems to have some problem or not show players or not refresh new players seated.

I have tried searching on the thread and forums for answers but there is little talking about Betonline. It seems i can get the hud to work but barely.

I'm glad. If, after the successfull configuration, you try to use again
the second monitor it still gets messy?

Worked! Did everything with one monitor, saved, closed the software, turned my second monitor on, and it didnt get out of the place.

Thanks

Yeah that worked fine (when I last tried a month ago). But when back in dual monitor setup, if I want to change stats or anything, or move the hud a bit, or resize a window and fine tune the hud and click save... it's messed up again.

Don't use the "Hud preferences" from the main menu' of fpdb. EVER! It's evil!

To change stats or tune the HUD edit the configuration file.

To change the layout, I know it's a pain but switch to single screen again
(but I wonder why you have to change that so often...just do it once and for all)

Is there a way to make the HUD background totally transparent?

I don't think so.

You can move them to the correct place. Then right click the menu and click save HUD configuration. If that doesn't work then you have to check your configuration file. In order to save the configuration there has to be a template for this number of players. For example, for 2 players the configuration file HUD_config.xml may contain something like:

<layout fav_seat="2" height="547" max="2" width="794">
<location seat="1" x="651" y="288"> </location>
<location seat="2" x="10" y="288"> </location>
</layout>

But if you start playing on a 10-handed table and there is no template in the configuration file for 10 players, saving HUD configuration won't store the HUD positions permanently. In that case, you may add a template to the configuration file yourself and then you can save to it during game play.

It's just me or a 3bet/4bet shove isn't counted as a 3bet/4bet ?

Info: cash game NL Hold'em, pokerstars(.it), linux, last version of fpdb

Please pay attention to this and tell me if I'm right or wrong.
