This is almost certainly my fault. A bug got pulled into the snapshot while I was working on stuff with Tournament Types. This should be fixed in newer versions if it hasn't been already.

It has highlighted another issue though. Certain tourneys dont specify the game type.

PokerStars updated their hand history format. You will need to download the latest snapshot and re-import your hand histories.

Sorry Al Mirpuri, but you need to download one of the very recent snapshot release for this to work.

Thankyou for the donation. I've made a change to Winamax that will hopefully allow the HUD to work, and if not should provide an indication why.

The second file doesn't contain as much information as the web page (early versions of that file didn't even contain the players name). I chose early on to support the web pages before the file.

I plan to support the text file at some point, but not before the next major release.

Some of this is caused by a short lived bug, but there is a larger issue i'll go into detail on.

Carbon cash games should work in recent snapshots.

I downloaded cfpdb-git-20120116-cd17343.exe as asked for via the link and extracted the files as usual.

I deleted previous fpdb v0.26 folder.

When I open the batch file for fpdb-git-20120116-cd17343.exe it opens and shuts very quickly and that is all it does.

There have been a lot of database and configuration changes since 0.26, so I would guess that you need to reset the configuration re-import the hands into the database.

From windows select Start > run... and enter %appdata%

A list of folders should be displayed.

The fpdb folder contains the configuration and database from version 0.26.

Rename the fpdb folder (to something like fpdb-0.26)

Now run the batch file from the latest snapshot.

You should be prompted for language preferences, and then can enter the screen name and folder locations for your poker room.

Hopefully everything will now work with the new software.

This is the third time I go to this thread. I put in 2h+ in FPDP and never got a chance to import one single hand. I downloaded recent 0.26 and recent snapshot, extracted both and startet the batch data of the snapshot. It DOES NOT import.

Im lost, and I search someone who helps me. I pay 30$ when it works. Please dont come again and ask me questions about my setup, site...whatever. I give you teamviewer and you do it for me.

I needed to delete the fpdb folder accessed thru %appdata% rather than rename it.

I followed the rest of your instructions and hey presto, fpdb is running.

However, there are no hand histories in the pokerstars folder from before 11/10/11. Why is that? I have lost about 2/3's of my hand histories.

Check your Pokerstars hand history settings (in the poker software) - it is probably set to delete hand histories automatically after 30 days - maybe change this to 9999 days.

You might be able to request the missing histories by email from Pokerstars.

I just reinstalled it and I now have a problem with the hand import, it comes from the parsing.

Please Help! I read about 20 pages and my eyes started to hurt so I decided to just ask my question. I'm using Carbon Poker on Windows 7 32bit and when I click "auto import and HUD" I'm getting these errors:

I did as you said in both respects.

The emailed histories I downloaded (folder by folder) then using 7zip I extracted them to a folder on my desktop but using Bulk Import fdpb is crashing when trying to upload them.

What do you think?

The hand-histories received by email are in a different format to the regular hand histories.

To import emailed histories into fpdb please try this:

Select Import / Bulk import
On this bulk-import screen, tick/select the box "Archive File"
Then choose the folder containing the emailed files and press Bulk Import

I have had no luck with this. It crashes as it did without ticking the box.

A second problem has also occurred. The HUD does not display though it attempts to: the black patches come up on the screen but do not display whilst fpdb shows that hands are being uploaded into it.

If the last version is in sourceforge and it's 0.26.1, yes.

The latest version is fpdb-git-20120120-c870382.exe.

just found out something related to the PacificPoker import (888Poker).
After seeing it always seemed to hang on the summary.txt files I moved them to a non-import directory.

AND ....

PacificPoker Import works as it should.


BTW As the above-posted GIT is already V 0.30 should you not open a new thread, or rename this one (V0.25, testing 0.26) ?????????
