I'm running the python-fpdb_0.26.901-1_all.deb version of fpdb on my debian.

I ave 2 questions :

1) When I try to import tournaments results (from Winamax), i put the directory of my hands history, but the importation block at starting.

I can import my hands (bulk import), but not the results of my tournaments.

2) The HUD work well for cash games, but not for SnG. Is it normal ?

My fpbd is taking on hands into its database but refusing to show them in the HUD.

I have been starting my fpdb up in the way I have always done, so I don't think the problem lies there.

This has been going on for two days now.

also, some filters in the tourney graphs would be very usefull. If I load my tourney graph I see all my tournaments ever played, including playmoney tourneys, strange thing is that most of the playmoney tournaments don't even have a tournament history, but somehow still show up in the graph, only with the buy in tho, no wins are taken into the graph from those specific games, so its a straight line down now...

I have the same issue while playing stg.

See a few posts back. We have a new major release coming and the snapshots fix this issue.

There is an issue with the most recent snapshots with saving the hud layout. Should be fixed in a day or two.

Then when I try to import results my pc was bloking and sometimes freezing. It's was because "Starting block winamax poker tour" a free sng for win a ticket for a tournament. When I remove this files, there is no problem, but is a litle bet boring manualy remove this files. (I can send you one of this file)

It stilling a little problem, every time I whant refresh my results I need reload everything, it's taking time and cpu ressource !

In italy cash games are played in ".it" poker rooms since July 2011.
Before ".it" was just a mtt and sng business.

So, now fpdb is an interesting tool for a lot of ".it" poker rooms, running cash games.

I'm running fpdb since september 2011, but just on Pokerstars.it.

Now, I'm interested i running fpdb on the following .it cash games:

PokerClub (Boss Media software)
BetClick and Netbet.it (iPoker software)

From your Hand History Bounties page I can see that Boss Cash NL Holdem is supported.
From some recent posts in this thread I hope that iPoker Cash NL Holdem now could work.

Running fpdb-git-20120112-aad649c on Windows XP I tried a bulk import of 30 hands from Holdem NL cash game in Netbet.it (iPoker), but i had 30 errors:

Actually, the Winamax tablename code isn't very good. If you could post the heading text from several Winamax tables and game types, that would help a lot.

Yes, I'm running the "fpdb-git-20120112-aad649c.exe" snapshot. I installed the new snapshot and re-created database.

fpdb config file was created by "fpdb-git-20120110-f51dc9e.exe" (I deleted it few days ago, then started that snapshot).

The hands were played in NetBet.it yesterday.
I entered the table with 2.00 Euro and exited 30 hands later with 2.23 Euro (put in pot 0.78, winnings 1.01)

After reading your "Hand History Donations" page, today I did again my try.

I re-created tables, closed fpdb, deleted fpdb logs, started fpdb and tried the bulk import, getting the errors.

I sent you the history xml file and all the new fpdb log files.


Some hint (I don't know if they are useful, but I'll share with you):


In fpdb I configured only the site BetClic with iPoker, but the hands i tried to bulk import are from NetBet.it, a different skin of the same network. My nicknames are different: zannap in BetClic, zannapp in Netbet. I hope this doesn't matter...


In the fpdb log I see the row
<tablename>Chl'
while in the history file i see
<tablename>Chlosinde M2EEE3003230B6AE</tablename>
and the poker room user interface show me the table name "Chlosinde, 529736571"

Ok we have a couple of problems. The .it files are in a slightly different format, but we have a conflict.

1) The date formats are different 31/01/2012 v 2012-01-31 - i've fixed this.
2) The number formating is different, using commas in place periods ie '.' This is a tougher issue as non-.it iPoker uses commas as a thousand separator
eg. on non .it 1,000 becomes 1000 as we strip the commas. Doing the same thing with the .it version '1,000,00' will give us 100000

It means i'm going to have to spend some time converting the iPoker converter to use a different strategy for string to decimal conversion.

The files names for this sng in my history folder are : 20120115_No Limit Hold'em(17027463)_real_holdem_no-limit.txt and 20120115_No Limit Hold'em(17027463)_real_holdem_no-limit_summary.txt .

Yes I have the table number 0 for SNG, not for MTT !

Hi There, Im new to 2+2, I have been running fpdb for the last couple of months now and think its a fantastic piece of freeware.
Just today I have started having problems, I am running XP and play at pokerstars. Basically it appears there is an error importing hands in the autoimport section. I dont understand how this has come about. Pokerstars updated, has this had an udesired effect? I've tried re extracting fpdb but with no change. any light on this would be much appreciated.

Hi Sorrow,

To recap, I have a problem dowloading hand histories and you advised upgrade.

I am now running version 0.26. of fpdb and get the followig error message:

Strong Warning - Invalid database version.

An invalid DB version or missing tables have been detected.

This error is not necessarily fatal but it is strongly recommended that you recreate the tables by using the Database menu.

Not doing this will likely lead to misbehaviour including fpdb crashes, corrupt data etc.

When I OK it, a series of boxes come up listing sites including pokerstars.

I then create the auto import path as I normally do allowing fpdb to download pokerstars histories.

When I click on HUD Preferences I get the same error message and the same boxes.

I OK them all and set up the HUD preferences for Draw in the usual manner.

I get fpdb running and it still downloads the hand histories but there is no HUD display.

I do not know how to recreate the database tables.

The problem has persisted though I have got rid of version 0.25 from my system. Please advise.

I used the ''Tournament Results Import'' option, and succesfully imported like 70 tournaments, but whenever I use the graph, it looks like this:

Even though I only imported 70 tournaments... When I select a date where I didnt play any tourneys, it still shows about 500 of them. It doesn't shows the profits, only the buy ins. So somehow it extracts data from my Hand history map, while I got a specific map for my tournament history files.

Another problem is the tournament stats, It used to stack up the tournaments according to buy in, so one row for all 45cent Sng's ever played, it now shows 'm all individually.

So basicly, the tournamentresults in my FPDB are linked to both my tournament AND handhistory file, thing is, the results extracted from the hand histories are invalid and can't be filtered out in any way...

Another question on this topic, my FPDB somehow doesn't automaticly import new results, is there some sort of Auto Import available?

Sorrow, iDestroy post second picture shows the problem (after importing tourney results). As you can see they are not same spot but individual tournaments.

iDestroy its known that if you import hand histories from tournament it reduces buy-in even if you managed to win it. Fixing it is to import tournament result. I just hope FPDB would get more filters too to graphs section and editing tool for tournaments.

One thing please.... could you double-check that the stat name is typed as car0 (no space, no underline) in the configuration file? A different spelling might cause the hud to not display.

I still use carbon. Is there anyone out there who would help me to get FPDP work on Parallels with my carbon hands? Im willing to pay up to 50$, depending on how long it takes.

Im serious, I already put all the effort in this I could, I just cant handle self written programms which dont have buttons and a gurantee to run.

I haven't tried the tracker in Carbon and I play a lot on that site. Is it working properly? Tell me your own opinion on this. Thanks.
