Going to try to answer what I can.

Several tournament summary bugs have been fixed over the past week, so they should be working their way into one of the snapshots soon. If you want to zip and email me the summaries I can make sure they're working. My email address is chaz at pokeit.co

Awesome. Your input would be most welcome. Hop on IRC chat sometime to say 'wassup'.

I guess I'm asking if keeping the program on a flash drive can cause weird problems with the stats??

I also keep the hands in a "HH" folder so when I do a bulk import I point the program at the HH folder(also on a flash drive btw.
I can't think of a reason the flash drive would be a problem. Do you know if all of the files are getting imported? I've recently added support for several more Merge game types so it could be that we're just not catching them (a few eight or better variants, and 5 card draw).

The website I run, pokeit.co uses fpdb as the back-end engine for parsing hand histories. I might be able to diagnose your problem a bit better if I can see if the hands are getting imported correctly. Feel free to PM me if you'd like an invite.

I think so, but I'm new to the program and may not be doing the "bulk import" properly.

So I'm looking to get this going on my Mac but seem to be getting lost in all the binary and what not translations. Can someone link me a page with somewhat simply put mac set up instructions. I went to the link from his instillation page and have no idea what he is talking about. Thanks in advance!
Edit: Will this program run off of mac or do I need a windows emulator?

I'm interested in any hands that hang the bulk import. PM me.

Thanks. Zarturo is putting a significant amount of effort into the hand viewer and replayer at the moment, so i'm expecting it to be a bit unstable.

Is there anyway to copy statistics from the ring player stats tab so I can post my stats to a forum / spreadsheet or whatever? Or just export to a text file or something in the same way that you can export the graphs to a picutre. Would be handy.
This isn't a feature yet. Sounds like a place for you to start

This should be fixed in the most recent snapshots. Chaz fixed the inconsistency in the way we handled dates between Summaries and Hand Histories a couple of weeks ago.

(Oh, am running version 0.26 on Linux Mint, playing FLHE and NLHE cash and tourneys on pokerstars)
Export of stat views is probably a good place to start.

I'm contemplating shifting to Mint? Have you tried 12 yet?

As others have said, the most likely reason is that the hands haven't been imported.

If you do notice any accounting issues, feel free to contact me directly.

There is no 'just work' version of FPDB for the Mac yet. Several people have had some success but it isn't for the inexperienced.

Indeed it does not. Looks like they added a "seats" field to the hand headers. Writing a patch to accommodate it now.

Getting money on/off sites is difficult.
Still trying to figure out how and where to risk it......

Anyhow, I believe Carbon changed something. I can import them into www.universal-replayer.net software just fine.

Thanks Sorrow!

Will brush up my python head next week sometime. A straightforward csv export or something should be fairly straightforward.

Haven't tried the new snapshots, will do and hopefully that will fix the tourney stuff.

What distro are you using now? I'm running mint 11 LXDE on my netbook, and mint 11 gnome on my desktop. Didn't realise 12 was out yet.
Very happy with both, the distro includes all the proprietary extras (codecs etc.) that you end up having to manually add anyway with ubuntu, and I didn't really fancy unity as my desktop.

Chaz indicates above that Carbon have changed their hh format. The fix for this should be released in hte next week or so.

Ubuntu 11.10 with Unity at the moment. They severely broke 'Traditional Gnome' in that release, and i'm curious how well the Mint 12 Gnome 3 shell extensions work.

Titan appears to be part of the iPoker network, so the hh's should import.

Hmmm,

I've updated my FPDB version to 0.26-235-g167dd56
Recreated my database (SQLite), reimported all hand histories (completes with 0 errors)
Tournament summaries also import correctly
Clicking statistics shows all 3988 hands present.

But trying to bring up any of the graphs or statistics does nothing and prints "No player ids found" in the terminal.

Any ideas? Is the version I have (I did "git clone git://git.assembla.com/fpdb.git fpdb") the correct one?

I don't see Ipoker as one of the auto import options. Not sure exactly how to import the HH.

Not sure about auto import but you should be able to import older files. Go to Import > Bulk Import and where it says 'Site Filter' select iPoker from the dropdown. Then find your Titan folder and then then select 'Bulk Import'. If that doesn't work, it might be the files themselves. Feel free to send a few samples to me at chaz at pokeit.co and i'll take a look.

Yeah i'm sure it's the hand histories themselfs. I've tried what you suggested before and sometimes it instantly says import complete and sometimes it says importing... only thing is it doesn't import. i left it running for like an hour and nothing. I'm sure it's something simple that can be done to fix the problem but i have not the slightest clue what that could be.

you wanted me to send you a few sample hand histories is that what you're referring to? What exactly is pokeit.co?

Another development snapshot is available.

There are a number of ipoker, carbon and Merge improvements since the last snapshots.

For those wanting to try this version, the location is http://****************/projects/fpdb...01-1baf36d.exe

Be aware that all hands will probably need to be reimported. The win2day warning at startup can be ignored.

This is test code so your mileage may vary. Any issues can be reported here, or at the fpdb-main mailing list.

When you run the exe, just tell it to extract to the desktop.
You should see a new folder with the files.
Just run the .bat file and it will use your settings from the version you have run before.
In the Documents and settings folder there is a folder under your username called application data.
In there is the fpdb folder. That is where the HUD config file is and the log files. Take a look at the error logs.
You are using Carbon right? It would be interesting to see if you get the same HUD errors as me....
