HUD Free, open source poker tracking software: FPDB - (Version 0.40.5) - Nov 14, 2013 - Page 199 - Poker Software -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 but to play online I've got XP running in a Virtualbox VM which is also where I'm running fpdb.26.
I'm trying Heropoker[Merge] so I've set it to Carbon.
It imports the hands fine and the fpdb menu shows, but no HUD display.
What do I need to check?

Hi,

I installed FPDB and it works well. I have a small question about refreshing the HUD, though. When a player leaves from a ring game and a new one joins, or, when you or someone else is moved in a tournament, the HUD does not show the statistics of the new player(s). Instead, it keeps showing the old players. How can you refresh the HUD such that it always keeps track of the players currently at the table?

There wasn't much support for iPoker before 0.26, the new snapshots have a lot of fixes.

I tried uploading my HH from carbon, Minted worked fine.. but it sticks on 1 file and will not go any farther... I get this message

Thanks for your help, is there anyway around this file? so I can get the rest to load?

What version are you using? (please try the snapshots for Carbon - http://****************/projects/fpdb...pdb/Snapshots/)

Just to confirm. Everleaf/Minted hands are working fine.

1. Bulk-import of Carbon/Merge hands (making sure you select the correct importer) works/fails?
2. That looks like auto-import, is it just auto-import that is failing?

Hi. Many thanks for the reply and for your hard work.

I am using Gnome version 2.30.2 on Debian 6 (Squeeze). The crash problem is not a big deal since I can just keep fpdb not minimized and it will work fine. If I mistakenly minimize it then I can just remove "/tmp/fpdb_global_lock****k" and restart fpdb again.

I have three questions:

1. Do I have to "Create or Recreate Tables" every time I use fpdb? Or I just need to select "Auto Import and HUD" and that's it?

2. What about the "Rebuild HUD Cache" and "Rebuild DB Indexes", what use are they?

3. How can I modify the colours of the players' stats? I tried to look in the preferences menu but couldn't find the relevant setting.

there is a list of the names of most statistics that you can use in the configuration file. But this list is not complete, isn't it? For example, I am looking for the statistics that tells me how often a player folds to a (preflop) 3-Bet. Where can I find the complete list?

Hi, I've recently started using a custom configuration for my HUD. Problem is that I've lost my colour code now. I've tried to look under Advanced Preferences but I can't seem to find how to fix this. Could someone explain to me how I could get the colour code back?

Heh. I dont think there is a quick fix for that.

Setting the delay timer to a big number should effectively block popups, but I haven't tested this.

If using windows exe, try editing this file:
\fpdb installation folder\pyfpdb\etc\gtk-2.0\gtkrc

add this line to set a 20 second delay for the popup (1 second = 1000 units):
gtk-tooltip-timeout = 20000

Stop and restart fpdb.

Total guess here: this sort of error happens when there is a local language character somewhere in the path. fpdb is probably trying to create the .fpdb folder in the users home directory, and the account/user running fpdb contains a local (not american-english A-Z,a-z,0-9) character.

If so, currently, fpdb will only work with logins using only american-english characters.

Problem with Ongame network (bwin.it)

The bulk inport don't work. (fpdb=0.25 locale=it_IT.UTF-8 debian=testing python=2.7.2). I think there are 2 problems: locale + an error in ongame filter.

I solved and I can import only if I use BOTH the workaround above:

1) I launch fpdb with the command:
LANG=en_US.utf8 fpdb

2) I convert my handhistory with the command:
sed -i "s/CEST/GMT+0200/" ~/P5JavaClientSettings/handhistory/handhistory0.txt

This is the begin of an Ongame's original uncoverted handhistory (it blocks fpdb with Italian locale AND with US locale):

Italian windows client of ongame network don't run on wine.

For those who have problems with tournament summaries.

I kept my Pokerstars time as my local time and it wont upload tournament summaries. But then changed it to ET time and it started to work. Uploader just got stuck and nothing happened (importing 0 of 1 and never finished).
