Hello,
just a quick question for the fpdb user community..
As i am playing 8game mix, i just would like to deactivate the fpdb hud in the omaha and holdem rounds (as i am using pt3 there) and just keep it for the stud rounds..
What paramaters should I modify in the pref tabs ?

Thanks a lot

Eddy

Another issue which is rather annoying. When I stack 10+ on Stars all the tables after a hand will start flashing on the screen showing me the cards at that table.

Is there anyway I can stop that?

Edit the HUD_config.xml file.

Find this section:

<supported_games>

The section entries look something like this:

<game aux="mucked" cols="3" db="fpdb" game_name="holdem" rows="3">

The popup is controlled by the game aux entry

Try setting this to game aux=""

Again, edit the HUD_config.xml

Search for entries using the keyword "color"

The background colours, stat colours can be altered using Hex codes.

You will also find that different colours can be chosen when a stat goes below a given value, or above a given value.

Pretty sure this can't be done at the moment - FPDB attaches to the table for the whole session. Right-mouse-click on the table's fpdb menu gives an option to kill the display, but it will come back again after the next hand is processed.

Hello, developers. I have following problem and I had it also with previous version. The first few times I started it the real time stats begun to show, but they just don't anymore. It tells that Auto Import is Started, the big window lists the tables. HUD Main Window is showing but it doesn't list the tables I'm playing. Several restarts work only sometimes. I haven't touched any settings.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Gimick,
thanks for the feedback - I'll try to minimize the HUD window size in the omaha and holdem modes
Cheers

Please try version 0.25 (released for testing).

If this doesn't fix the problem, please check the hud_errors.log and hud.log files for any errors or traceback messages. Please let us know the version of the software you are using, the pokerroom, type of game and operating system.

Just downloaded the program, and imported an old hand history from Tilt to see if I could get it set up and working. Everything looks great, but here's the question.

Since as a US player I can't play on Tilt or Stars anymore, I'm on Merge now on the Lock Poker skin. I see that you've put in some stuff for Carbon which is also a Merge skin, and an earlier post mentioned using the program on Play Aces (also Merge). Can I use the program for Lock by simply changing the Advanced Preferences to point to the Lock directory and hand histories instead of Carbon? I also have been playing on sportsbook.com's Play Aces for a long time. Could I run two instances of the program, one for each skin?

I will send you the info on Lock and sportsbook.com, as well as some hand histories for ring & tourny badugi, omaha, and omaha hi/lo.

Thanks for all your hard work on this project!

Yes, just point the carbon configuration to the skin's Hand history folder. Do not change the name of the section (leave it as carbon).

Please use test version 0.25 (link in a previous post) - there are a lot of updates in that version to support merge/carbon.

Two instances might be possible, if you can force the second instance to look in an alternative location for its configuration information. Will check this out later.

I just downloaded FPDB and I import older hands using bulk import which works, however it does not show all the limits from the hands that I've imported, specifically, its not showing 2/4 limit, 3/6 limit, 5/10 limit, 8/16 limit, 10/20 limit, or 15/30 limit.

In the graphs tab the limits table shows, for limit games, 5, 25, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 800, 1000, 1500. I think the 1000 limit is supposed to be 5/10 but it does not show the 5/10 hands that I have imported.

Any help?

FTP, and the games are stud8, badugi, and razz maybe some limit O8.

Here is a screen shot, I believe the right hand column is missing 400, 600, 1600, 2000, and 3000 which should be the limit games right? And FTDB won't display any of the 5/10 hands I have from stud8.

every few minutes the HUD stops updating even though the importer still runs and imports hands. I can fix this by restarting the import process, but is there another way around this?

Hello.

Is it possibile to have a different "pfr stat" for every position so you can see the opening range from EP, MP and LP (or even one for every single position, at least for the latest) ?

A "limp/fold" (how many times you limp then fold after a raise) would be useful too.

Thanks.

I think this will need a software update (we keep a list of various limits in the importer code, and the ones listed will need to be added).

hmmm works for me here.

Mine says:

Code:
<game aux="" cols="3" db="fpdb" game_name="holdem" rows="3">
Menu Help/about shows the full path name to the config file.

Can you double-check the current config was changed?

I had FPDB a while ago, then my PC died and the majority of my memory got erased. Before my PC died, all of those limits displayed just fine, obv I recently just downloaded the most recent release, would seem weird to regress with a new release?

I had this version, this post was just after I had downloaded FPDB: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...postcount=4503

Windows 7, 64 bit. I updated to version .25 and that doesn't fix the problem.

Another problem that I had with .22 (and still have with .25) is that sometimes FPDB activates a table or tables for a split second, I'm guessing it has something to do placing the HUD, because it happens more often when I open new tables. I stack tables and this can cause me to misclick (although the focus stealing is very brief).

Still getting the flashing cards, and showing other peoples hole cards after the hand finishes. Mine is the same as yours. I only have one HUD_config.xml file.

I can see that file when I double click on my fpdb.0.25 shortcut folder and then double click on the pyfpdb folder.

It looks like this in my HUD_config.xml file:

Quote:
[code]<supported_games>
<game aux="" cols="3" db="fpdb" game_name="holdem" rows="3">
<stat click="tog_decorate" col="0" popup="default" row="0" stat_name="vpip" stat_loth="25" stat_locolor ="#408000" stat_hith="40" stat_hicolor ="#F05000" tip="tip1"> </stat>

</game>
No doubt I am probably doing something stupid. :@

Also, my HUD_config.xml file in the pyfpdb folder is called an EXAMPLE FILE under the file type column..

Pretty sure this isn't possible at the moment.

Allowing a site to have more than one import directory shouldn't be particularly hard though.

Ditto for 1600
10/20 is 2000 and should function, as should 3000

5/10 is 1000 and appears to be in your list

Make sure you are using 0.25 please.

Part of that work was done (mucked cards in draw games are now recorded), but the hud code hasn't seen any love in a while. Our resident HUD guru has been black friday'd.

Yeah...

You aren't editing the right config file.

Code:
Start->Run
%APPDATA%/fpdb
Should get you to the correct file.
