I can't say that UB ever worked, I've never had an account on UB. It did work with Absolute, and theoretically still should, if they haven't changed their handhistory format. I -think- UB and AP have the same formats, but they had just merged their networks last I had money on there.

Basically, try it. Enable Absolute in the config, point it at your UB handhistory, and try some cash holdem hands. It also loaded Holdem hands from HORSE games, last I saw.

I converted it from the Everleaf converter, because I knew how that works a lot better than the others .. if someone wanted to copy the Stars or FTP handhistory converter, then fix it for AP/UB, that'd probably be a better idea, considering AP/UB do have a full range of games, whereas Everleaf is just holdem/omaha/stud, and their stud handhistories are useless.

I'm using pokerstars.fr and importing hands in english, so it seems it's working, but I can't manage to have some data displayed on my tables (vipp, 3bet, things like that).

Just to check: do you mean you cant get it to display, or do you mean that they are displaying zero or other wrong numbers?
Assuming its merely a display problem, if you are running a snapshot (0.20.90*) just use the HUD configurator, if you're using a stable version (0.20.1 or lower) you'll have to edit the HUD_config.xml file. (I'd recommend you update to a snapshot tho)

Can you confirm with Database->Statistics that it really does import the hands when you're using auto-import?

I just relaunched it and tried database/statistics (while NOT playing) and saw 0 0 0.
Should I try while playing?

No that's ok. So the problem is in importing the hands. Sorrow just tried your files with 0.20.904 and it works for him - are you using that version? If not please update, if yes please try bulk importing the files.
Then check in Database->Statistics again whether that worked.

Something wierd too : the auto import tab keeps asking me my file directory everytime I close it and relaunch it. Shouldnt it keep that saved?

You can configure the folder by going into the main menu > preferences. Then open Sites > site PokerStars and you need to edit HH_path to the appropriate folder and screen_name to your PS name. Then auto-import ought to work

did this, even renamed the pokerstars.fr.exe in pokerstars.exe, gave my screen name and directory to hh and still doesnt have anything on screen, still need to name the path every time i try to auto import, and still have to recreate hud table everytime (but nothing appearing)

Something must be wrong in setting the preferences with the .fr client, I don't understand. I think I'm going to give up, can't find why it's not working...

Most likely it's just a subtle difference between the names of the windows of PS.global and PS.fr. If you change your mind let us know, I think we're close to getting this working.

Just fixed this. Will be included in 0.20.905 and all later versions - would be nice if you could check once that is released.
You will need to recreate your tables and reimport or the filters will continue to malfunction for existing imports.

repeated the process again, recreated my tables and so on.

And by the data I mean I must get used to exploit vpip, 3bet, and so on stats!

it's my first day trying to install that software which seems great!

Unfortunately, I'm french, and it seems to be something wrong importing the hands with the new softwares I'm using (PokerStars.fr and FullTiltPoker.fr)

I still have other hands in the "old" international release of PS and FTP and import is fine for them.

So there's something bad with these new files.

Of course, the language of the files is english.

I think there's something wrong with 2 things:

1) the currency. If I leave it to euro, no import at all:

If I change in my hand file (and even in the hand file name) all the symbols "€" by "$" and try the import again, the import begins, but new problem:

I could finally import manually a file, but I had to:

- change € symbol by $ symbol in the hand file name
- change all € symbols by $ symbols in the hand file
- change all "CET" time by "ET" in the hand file

But of course, for these reasons, auto-import won't work, and probably the hud too.

What version of fpdb and which OS are you using? PS.fr should already work in at least 0.20.904 (I'm not sure if it worked in the latest stable release 0.20.1 though).

For FTP.fr you had bad timing, we're literally about to release 0.20.905 (the source, Debian/Ubuntu and Gentoo versions are already online, just waiting for the Windows exe installer now) which will hopefully work on FTP.fr, it certainly worked for the small history sample that we received.

Gimick/DangermaN--

FTP sometimes outputs mangled HHs when you get a table change in tourney. I have pushed a fix that skips the mangled HH, and then proceeds normally. I think that Steffen didn't pull that change (or it got reverted?). Should be available soon.

FYI - That problem turned out to be Dangermans text editor, not FPDB breaking things
